    The lone survivor for INA in GS, Hanna Ramadini, will face Qin Jingjing for a place in the last 8 as expected. Honestly, I think she will lose.

    YES!!!! Ihsan Maulana Mustofa (born Nov 1997) prevailed over the CHN prodigy Zheng Siwei (born Feb 1997) in three tight-sets: 16-21, 21-14, 24-22. He has at least fulfilled his seeding and will face Dani Harsheel for a place in the last 8.

    I believe Fikri Ihsandi Hadmadi should join him next.

    Lin Guipu lost to Jeon Hyuk Jin [9] in straight-sets yet again (after the defeat in the team event yesterday). So, CHN is left with 2 BS players in R16.

    I don't know what is the strength of the other 2 players, but I believe the BS title will be keenly fought between Thammasin Sitthikom, Thongnuam Pannawit, Soong Joo Ven, Soo Teck Zhi, and Wang Tzu Wei.

    so far, a good day for Indonesia.
    meanwhile, we have 3 casualties today which is quite expected.
    comes from the 3 GS, the weakest dept for INA

    Is it Lin Guipu or Guipu Lin? I thought TS has adopted western-style naming (first name - family name) for quite awhile, even for East Asian athletes.

    As feared, already 3 INA XD pairs were eliminated in R32. 1 more to go and the chance is slim. 2 BD pairs also lost early, leaving only the top seed Kevin/Arya left in R16. Sigh....
