    Yes,

I do not believe that guy can give quality guidance to players or even relate to them. He's surely not even a 'big bro' to them. If I'm wrong, please correct me.

Also about our players, I think some may be more passionate playing DOTA or online games in their free time than to be obssessed with Badminton like a LCW

Yes, I understood the mistake the first time. ;)

So I did not misunderstand and flame you for no reason. :D
It's a simple spelling error anyone with basic english standard would be able to comprehend and not retaliate in an unreasonable defensive manner

    Cheers

not sure how much free time can the back up player can get?
this batch of player enter bam 5 or 6 years ago.
their salary per month is rm 500(yup,even toilet cleaner in kuala lumpur earn more than that)
they need to do part time job to survive(yes,in their important year,19 and 20 years old)
this situation only change after tan/gan want to leave bam issue(before tc 2008)
    the pressure get into bam
    so the salary policy change.
but sorry, not many player hit 4 digit also, but of course axxx salary is the highest among them(i mean back up/elite back up only)
those who have free time to play game must be from rich family.
i watch the video interviewing tbh and family(after the ae 2007 victory),his sister mentioned her father send rm 1000++ per month for tbh to support his living
how much family can afford it?
rm 500 per month can live?

    well
    this is old issue
but this hasn't improve much to encourage parent to allow their children to fully concentrate in badminton.
many player is studying beside training.
    julia,lydia,ng hui lin,ng hui ern

they need to work/studying beside training
those who able to play games beside training must be have a millionaire/billionaire father
any example as evident to what u claim?

dont point finger before knowing the situation

Then who can replace him? His older bro? I happen to start to think Hendrawan can do a better job but wouldnt last the politics in BAM

Some of them may play online games some of the time but they are passionate abt their game/career. For others, they post on facebook to inform their friends & fans how they're doing.
I play online games also but I do my job & do it well (and not using company time or line to online , hehe) :p;)

This has been discussed ad nauseum. Pls read the back up thread.

Actually parents need to fund a lot of the player's time at BJSS and back up. If they are not middle class family no way can afford.

After go to back up, it's RM500 per month, someone posted our Msian football players get RM2,000 per month. Either the player work part time(that also not enough) or yup, parents to support.
In Msia there's no league for those who didnt make it. KLRC from what I heard has no full coaching setup, etc anymore. They just sponsor some players.

In comparision, a) they can earn more taking up a regular job. b) Take up further studies with scholarship, one of them HELP institute

Well, the third round of the Malaysia Open shows what exactly Rashid Sidek is doing. He should resign, really.

During BJSS it's RM50(another member posted), books, etc, own self buy.

FOr the national football players, food & accomodation also included, they get RM2,000. But food, it's not 3 meals right? Players need buy own food also
LOL, RM500 where got enough in KL? Transport expenses how? Travel to competition venue, sometimes they need drive.

how many meal did bam supply per day?
if one day one meal(provided by bam),then we minus rm 195.

how much is the toll fee from kl to jb?(not only local circuit, player drive to johor to participate mas gp gold this week too)

are you sure bam only provide 2 meals a day?

i thought i saw them with 3 meals the last time i was there?

maybe its 3 provided and supper not included...

toll fee, petrol i don't think every player drives their own car

and i don't think they play tournament every week

i am also sure there are car pools

if there are no time and money for luxury

i think parents subsidy would not come up to rm500

in fact if rm300 a month would be ridiculous

Then off days, are meals provided?

Foreign worker at restaurant/pump attendant also earn more than RM500(RM900 in small Melaka), accomodation provided, plus 1 or 2 meals by employer. After they go to back-up, it's considered as full time job. How to support oneself & family with RM500? lol, lol. As I already stated, those from other sports in Msia get more.

If that's the deal, might as well they take up study scholarship(no need pay back) & finish off in 4 years instead of still being stuck no where 5 years later.

of course they have car pools,if not, bankrupt already.
    well,there is more to spend
u know that they need to renew passport with their own money?
not sure if i need to list out everything
there is no rm 1.5 milo ice in kuala lumpur,so the calculation is already super duper cheap.

are u sure bam provide 3 meal a day?
u sure there is restaurant at their hostel?
    i went to ajc twice
i saw player use their own money to buy drink and meal at that restaurant
    if parent visit,then parent pay
got menber already mention bjss player only get rm 50 per month,
i go watch tournament whole week, spend on that restaurant for food and drinks already rm 100++
if only use the allowance,so,they need to starve 2/3 month before the tournament
    if not,no money to eat during tournament--------->no energy----------->lost---------->kick out----------->bye bye= malaysia boleh!
