I am about to buy a new racket and came across this model on ebay head nano ti.s70 titanium which was selling very cheap as compared to its stated RRP which is GBP220. Any idea how is racket and what can be the reason for selling it so cheap? Thanks
Let me guess... "RacketWorld" on Ebay/Amazon? Virtually all the rackets they sell are old, discontinued models. The RRPs they state are also massively exaggerated - in the case of HEAD badminton, the current top of the line racket (the Power Helix 10000) can be bought online brand new, for around £110 - so how on Earth can an old model be worth £220? They also boast similarly inflated RRPs for Browning rackets, which are a cheap, low quality brand. Basically, you get what you pay for. If you're just a beginner, looking to spend no more than about £30 on a racket, then they're perfectly fine - but don't believe for one second that you're getting a bargain. Yes Sketchy, you are right. And thanks for that thread. I am an average player and can spend more than that on a racket but its confusing when you come across such deals. I just want to know where does that racket stands as compared to Yonex Nanospeed 300 or 850?
