To much Reaction-Based player in MAS national squad right now.

Clear > Wait for opponent's shot > Repeat

No hope unless they become more initiative-taking and actually try to win rallies.

I can't believe the national women's team are not participating in the Hangzhou games. I really think this is super stupid if true

After the embarrassment of 0-3 at the hands of Philippines at SEA Games, I can understand BAM's reasoning, barely. Training or exposure, which is more important?

Aidil Sholeh's performance in the Taipei Super 100 tornament was just bad.
    To be exact, soul-less.
His body moves, his hands hit the shuttle, but anything besides that? Nothing.
It is such a shame since he was with the same batch as Ng Tze Yong in 2018, who had improved tremendously.
AS's attacking game is soft like jelly, his stroke quality and variation is too simple.
Waste of a talented player, if he is happy to lose R32/64 forever.

If Malaysia women had played in Hangzhou, that would have been an easy chance of gaining some ranking points for the lower ranked players.

I thank god that i'm a Malaysian badminton fan. Because they've already trained my patience level when seeing my team lose. That's why i'm doing fine with Chelsea FC not winning any games this season

Yeah, as Chelsea and MAS badminton fans, these two trained you to accept disappointment.

Last Sunday, I was switching between Chelsea's game and Arsenal/Spurs game.

Completely crap by the men's team at the Asian games. They should be ashamed. No excuses. So disappointed

The Malaysian Juniors have reached the semifinals of the world junior team event.

    Now here’s an interesting question:

Was it because of Misbun leaving that they get this result or was it the training received when under Misbun that gives the result?

Not both of them. But their opposition was India , which I would say crappy juniors. So, no wonder they reached semis.

Things to note after Misbun's exit:
    1. New BAM physiologist to help juniors mental weakness.
    2. Additional training with seniors

Actually Rexy Manaiky has been promoted to Coaching Director role. overseeing all departments of BAM, Hendrawan, James Chua and Tey Seu Bock probably sharing the singles responsibility now since no Choong Han.

Eogene Ewe, 2nd seed in WJC 2023, lost in straight game to Ayush Shetty R64.

Disappointing result since last year for this player. On the road to become another mediocre MAS player?
Too bad Faiq/Lok is not playing doubles this year.

Malaysia gets two bronze medals in the World Junior Championships. Are Malaysians happier now?

With Rexy talking about potential cuts from the national team, MS batch players should be alarmed. Too many tournaments joined with so many early exits.
On the other hand, Xpora Indonesia IC, Aidil Sholeh finally enters the final. I can see him playing better tactically and stamina-wise.

Sports, particularly Badminton, is so Cruel.
Cheam Jun Wei Lost to Jason Teh (SG) in KL Masters.. Jason lost to Ravi in QF @ Infosys IC last week.
During 2015, 16 , CJW was touted as next to LCW.. Now!
    Any injury?
Like Masinam Meirba (Ind) lost Tan Jia Jei (Mas) at 1st round.. he too achieved good results in (sub)Junior career..

Until otherwise, they reach Top 25 & consistent, m(an)y predictions at early age/stage of career are going awry !
