I'm relieved that he's ok. After learning that he's been playing tournament nonstop, going to different places, I wonder how he even go to school. Has he graduated already?
Immediately after graduating from (Hwasoon) High School he joined the SAMSUNG team (with his old partner Cho GunWoo), that is his full-time job. BTW I have read he's studying on part-time basis at near college. I think he will also study more in the future cause he's smart enough. (Maybe up to Ph.D. as KDM and PJB did.)
Thank you for the info. I hope he continues his college education. We know, for a fact, that our body deteriorates. And at a certain age, we may no longer be competitive as we used to. With good education, at least we'll have a fallback.
to me cho didnt improve much since 2008 shin is a front court player like lyd so,kim ki jung should be
I saw the korean entry list for the thomas cup qualification however LYD name was not there. is he not playing???
Sometimes it's no guarantee that a player will participate in a tournament although their name had been submitted much much earlier.
LYD said, his ultimate goal is to win Gold Medals in three consecutive Olympics, which nobody have ever achieved in badminton. His short-term goal is to win the Gold in the upcoming World Championship and Asian Games.
Yes. Gao Ling was almost there. Imagine if she had won the last Olympic match, she would have been the badminton goddess. I wish LYD would successfully do this, although I doubt that LHJ could still cope up with him in LYD's next Olympic game. If ever they change LYD's partner in XD, I hope she could be just as good or even better than LHJ. As with JJS, I think he's a great player. He meshes well with LYD. LYD is a risk taker. And JJS is always there to back him up.
big dreams for yong dae, eh?? - A lofty goal for him. Hope he doesn't shoot himself in the foot with such high expectation. - WC is a must. Then the Olympics.
