While players are getting ready to do battle......

    .
    A warning sign ? :D:D:D

While players are getting ready to do battle, BCers are already doing the battles for them (their idols). ;););)

As long as opponents (Badminton players) of BCers' idols are not hurt (not treated with disrespect), our moderators and kwun should be happy. :):):)

    Who feels the greater pressure?

    .
    OMG. Read slower to understand what was said;
China can still win the title without Lin Dan; Malaysia cannot if without Lee Chong Wei. That's why LD doesn't have as much pressure as LCW.

Anyway, I shall leave this topic now.

Who am I to speak for Lin Dan (or Lee Chong Wei)?:eek::eek:

    I am a bit schizophrenic as a fan :)

On one hand I would like Lin Dan to win, as I think his top-game is the most beatiful and powerful.
On the other hand I like LCW as a person and would really like to see him to win one of these big medals.

Darn.. cant they both get a gold-medal?? :D

    cheers,
    Towbeer

Just let them all play as much as they can. We will miss them very very much when they are not around (although I suspect Peter Gade will still be playing when the OG2016 comes around! :D) Compared to these 4 legends, the rest of the MS players feel so very ordinary (sadly!)

Chen Long is catching up closer and closer with Lin Dan

    .
From what I see; Chen Long is catching up, closer and closer, with Lin Dan.

Let's wait and reread what we have said in a couple of years' time. :):):)

But will Chen long be the same as Lin Dan in the years to come?

Unlike Lin Dan who has the retired legendary coach tang beside him.

Unless there is another undiscovered legendary coach somewhere.. :D

About LD's chances in the WC 2011...

I notice his quarter is packed with some pretty tough lefties. LD has not performed as well against lefties. He's probably going to have a tough time making it to the semis.

At that stage, he will have to re-calibrate his game to perform against right-handers.

It should be interesting to watch how he adapts.
