Hi, Is it common for the racquet to get marked (little dents) during the stringing process? Or did the stringer just do a lousy job? Pictures below with red circles showing the little dents. Thanks!
oh i would be pissed if that hapend to my ns9ks, is ur s or x?, i dont think that is suposto happen, i would tell him about that, maybe he will be more carefull, maybe its a bad batch of paint.
Not saposto happen when stringing unless it was caused by the machine, or the paint job is not a good one. Could have come from anything really not only the stringer like when your putting it in or taking it out of your bag. With all honesty if that was my racquet I wouldnt really care I mean racquets will get chipped and all that its ment to be used not for display or to show off, what happens if you shank and get a nice big chip on the head?
i'd be pissed if it were my racquet, either tell them to be more careful next time or don't go there anymore.
Bad stringer who do not pay attention to their work. The dent is caused by the machine. I will suggest you ask for your money back for the stringing job and don't go back again.
It sure does look like marks made by the stringing machine. If a stringer is careless enough to leave marks like that i wouldn't take it back to him...
They appear to be small surface dents. Nothing too deep but it's a brand new racquet so I was a little aggravated.
These are caused by the side supports/clamps used in stringing being too tight. Unfortunately not all shop stringers would take good care of your racket as they are in a hurry to string as many as possible.
