HI Guys : Want to seek you guys Opinion on the most Durable shuttlecock in regardless of Price. My opinion : 1. Yonex AS 50 2. Yonex AS 40 3. Li Ning A+300 4. Victor Master Ace 5. RSL Supreme 6. Chao Pai Red 7. Ling Mei Black 8 . Aeroplane black Hope more badminton fans can share your opinion. Thanks
I have no problem with top 5 but CP red is rated way too high. CP can't even crack top 10 of my list. I would put Victor Master #1,#2, Aeroplane Black EG1130, RSL ultimate, LM90, RCL Black Gold, Yumei 101 above CP red.
You can try Golden Eagle GE92 shuttlecock. They are very durable than any other brands available in the market and price is around 20-21$ per tube for bulk orders. You can send them email to get discounted pricing. I am a competitive player and I would rate them on par with Yonex AS50 and Victor Master ACE though its not natural cork. Highly Recommended !!!
No way. RSL supreme not even using full natural cork, composite sandwich cork starting to deform after a few heavy smashes.
There is a high price tag for Natural cork and durable shuttlecock. Yeah composite cork deforms a little but not bad. Anyhow shuttle will last only a game or two. Most of the people are fine with economical shuttlecock.
If anyone resides in USA and wanna try free samples of Golden Eagle GE92 shuttlecock, you can contact at sales@nydhi.com and nydhi.com is the website. These are one of the best shuttlecock in the market for durability. Website prices are typically higher. Email them for discounts.
If anyone in Canada wants to buy Ling Mei 90 shuttles that are BWF Certified for international tournaments, message https://www.facebook.com/racketxpertsca/ or email edm.racketxperts@gmail.com. These are some of the most durable shuttles with extremely consistent flight and natural cork.
a bit of over statement here, we have tried over 50 tubes of LM 70, 80, 90 last year and what I can say is not the best in terms of durability and flight consistency but value for money, what you pay is what you get. LM never use full natural cork, only available in 3 layer sandwich cork, natural + composite + natural, better than compressed chip cork+ composite + compressed chip cork.
With due respect, no way for you but it happens to me (and my friends). I know materials matters but do not always reflect durability accurately, though logically. My friends and I care more about less changing of shuttlecock during our singles games / strokes. Full natural cork, top brands, BWF approved, high price top tier shuttlecock and who don't have high expectation? However during our tests, AS50 and A+ 300 feathers broke faster than Supreme. Before feathers breaking, they are real gems... Regarding hard smash and deform, we are average players and only smash moderately in terms of power. We did not deform both AS50 and A+300 yet but feather broke faster than Supreme thus making our test result as mentioned: Supreme > AS50 > A+ 300. Thus, my opinion still stand firm even many may disagree. For whoever is reading, my exta sharing with you are as following: - low end shuttlecock e.g AS10 are imo not worth the money spent. - durable series e.g LN A+ 62 is not durable - BWF approved shuttlecock do not always mean is super durable e.g. Our test also showed that RSL Supreme is more durable than the BWF approved RSL Classic.
Looking for something similar to as30-40 durability for under $28usd shipped to the US. Where to buy lingmei black? Is the black better or the 90?
Regarding durability between RSL supreme and Yonex AS50, I would say RSL Supreme generally last longer than Yonex AS50 ONLY IF there isn't/hardly any "hardcore" smashing during the game. If there is lots of hard smashes rally, RSL Supreme can't even last for a game but Yonex AS50 will able to survive at least a game. Having said that, Yonex AS50 is not a highly durable shuttlecock though is very pricey, its feather will break/degrade after few mishit. So I won't recommend it for non-advanced players. For me, I would think Yonex AS50 is still a better shuttlecock when considering all aspects of a shuttlecock.
