Here is the picture of FLEET Professional-12 racquet that can hold 40lbs. It is written on the racquet. Actually it is written "MAX TENSION 40lbs" but I didnt snap all the words because I didnt expect that I will post the picture here. Anyway, if you all want more picture of this racquet, I can snap it because my friend already buy this racquet.

Finally got back to see the new rackets that have been waiting for me since the middle of last week. I haven't strung or played with them yet, so I'll just make a few observational comments.

I was expecting (and hoping against) a Kobe beef style marbling in the rackets. But Panda Power has come through yet again. The marbling is very very subtle and I can easily see how anyone would have a hard time truly capturing the marbling without under- or overstating it.*

The fact is, the marbling color relies on the difference in light reflection; the marbling completely disappears in a low light environment, but is very vibrant in a high light environment like in front of a bathroom vanity that has a dozen lightbulbs going. The same goes for the purple background for the "Ultra Pro" label, it fades well into the racket and is not obtrusive. Perfect for when you want to concentrate fully on the opponent and not the graphics of your racket (cough ARC9 cough).

Due to the sheer black of the racket, the tapering of the racket is smooth at a glance, but one can obviously feel the ridges when running their fingers up and down. The handle also seems a bit smaller than before, probably in response to the need for a light but very head heavy racket.

It actually picks up very light for it's weight, and it is immediately noticeable how stiff it is. Stiffness is something that I am very sensitive to (along with stringbed tension, but unlike swingweight), and even just feeling how it just doesnt give when being drawn from it's cloth bag tells me this is stiffness I haven't felt since the "hornet (Ultra 1)." However, unlike the Ultra 1, the Ultra Pro has a lightness and spring to it, reminds me of Ali a bit. I can't wait until I can string this baby up and take her out for a couple of kills-I mean matches.

    no pics yet. sorry.

today i played with the UP again.

played with kinda a beginner who was holding a AT300. we had a pretty major racket clash. it was one of those, "oh crap, this is it, i don't even want to look at the damage" type of clash.

well, nothing really happened. until 5 mins later, the AT300 self destructed on a smash. the frame just gave in and the whole thing taco'ed. gone and RIP.

and the UP? not a single scratch. i am serious, i cannot even see where it hit the other racket, there was no paint chip, no crack, no dent, no nothing. like nothing happened while the other guy now has to buy himself a new christmas present.

    i am impressed.

Uhhhh. I hope that's the kinda quality we can expect from the Revelation - although I have yet to break a racket or even have a real hard clash with a doubles partner, I'd still like to know it would survive one of those :D And it's nice to have at least one racket that's not chipped all over <.<

A non-regular doubles partner just walked into my T2 the other day with his racquet. Got a sizeable chip of paint off the top of the T2. I am devastated! :(

    kwun,

Of course you didn't get a paint chip on the UP from the clash... there is no paint on the UP to begin with! :p

well there is some sort of top/clear coat on it. it is transparent but there is definitely some sort of finish. i think there is only one layer so it adheres to the underlaying CF very well.

no, i think panda mentioned in the past that it's some kinda powder coat that's baked on to provide a clear coat for protecting the paint and carbon underneath

This is totally off topic...and I also do not see anything in this thread so far, as I've only just started reading up to page 23...but having just bought the Ultra 2, I find the grip could use a little re-work. In my personal opinion, it's a bit slippery and the edges are too thin and fold up easily.

I apologize if this has been talked about before...

eh? most of us either add overgrip or regrip it, whether it's a yonex, victor, or panda power...
    very easy fix

i don't know of anyone who plays with the bare original grip

I know I know and really, there are so many styles of grip out there it's not possible to satisfy everyone. However I thought I would chime in with something that hasn't been said yet. One can never make a product better if there isn't some constructive criticism :D
