Have you tried using cushion wrap or some form of thin wrapping foam below your G08 before? That can help you build the grip to be larger.

All my rackets have a base layer of plastic tape beneath before I apply overgrip. The plastic tape is used mainly to give it some form of adhesive for the overgrips as they don't stick to the wood, but doesn't add much thickness to it... unless I wrap rounds and rounds of plastic tape over.

Nope. Not sure where to find them too...

Singapore has easy access to that stuff. I know the victor flagship store and e-link both carry the cushion wrap from victor. Idk at other brands though.

Erm.... G01 on a G5-sized racket will be too big for my hands. Could be considered if it's G6 or G7...

Anyone tried using the RKEP overgrips inside out? The underside of the overgrips seem less slippery than the topside so may perform better for extreme palm sweaters. Will test out and post back.

G08 is playable even after I left it out in the rain. Just use that instead?

Oh wow, I thought I was bad! Which colour? I go for white but yellow/orange/green are ok. Black just feel weird to me.

I've tried almost every colour. G08 Soft75 is already much better than the Elite and miles better than the Wet Tape. But still, the Soft75 still feels slightly slippery.

Eric, are there any plans to make a tackier grip? I have tried the tackiest RKEP grips but still find them not quite tacky enough and not as tacky as the Artengo grips I am using.

I have very very dry hands - which don't sweat at all during play so I need extremely tacky grips and I don't like using grip powder.

    Thanks.. :)

Nope :D Still not tacky enough for me. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad at all, but I am spoilt having tried better. The G09 is good, and would be perfect if it was a little tackier and if the tackiness lasted longer...

If you like tacky grips that aren't going to burn a hole in your pocket, suggest trying the Artengo ones.

It's probably too tacky, I get it if it's too tacky.
