Does it also happen on you guys? Lately shuttlecock price constantly rising little by little, unlike before Covid, normally its like every year or at most 6 month (on rare occassion). Now it like rising every month. Around 3 month ago i buy Victor Lark 5 for 120k IDR, now the lowest price are 160K IDR. Other local brand also kinda rising its price little by little each month.
I put an order in about two months ago. As we were in semilockdown- I suspected when courts start again (which is this week), the prices will rise and no stock. I have one box of fifty shuttles of victor shuttles at old price.
Yeah... Normally i would just buy 5 tube each purchase but I guest stocking up more would be good consider the pricing getting all wild. Just curious why all this happening?
Supply chain issues. Covid very disrupting. china factories is also being affected so expect prices to go further up.
I have been using RSL no 1 so far. Saw carousel selling supreme model around $30 per tube. Anyone got any good lobang? $30 sound reasonable though.
Is there anything going on with the global shuttlecock market? Seems like the price keep increasing non stop, over here in M'sia I usually purchase RCL brand shuttlecocks and the price was increased twice in less than a year with another price increase expected in August. What frustrate us is the price increase but qualities of the shuttles doesn't improve much
If food can go up in price, shuttles will definitely go up in price. How much is it now for an average Nasi Lemak in Malaysia?
Nasi Lemak is around MYR3 which is less than $1 per packet still pretty much cheap I wouldn't mind if the shuttle price increase but it seems the quality of each shuttle doesn't get improve at all. We're seeing quite a number of new shuttles had it's feather broken off within just a few hits, mind you we're all not any pro level players just casual weekly players who don't smash like crazy.
