..i knew i had made a typo as a result of listening to that baby's screaming... it should be "..from Tokyo to S'pore"..
How long's your wait in Singapore Airport? What is there to do there? I also stop by in Singapore to catch my KL flight
Then strings, grips and shuttles are really cheap once currency conversion is factored in...I went to KL in Feb with one suitcase (containing another suitcase) and when I flew home, I end up with 2 all packed full and one more carryon...hahaha!...enjoy the game, the food, the shopping and fun meeting up there (I envy you all) but not the heat and humidity and long flight home...but if you are flying Spore, MAS or Cathay, hopefully the cuties stewardess may ease the pain of a long flight home later
off topic-.. ..well, right now i'm just surfing the internet. However, the public internet only allows 15 minutes before they kick me out. Then i have to log in; although you can keep on logging in. Right now, there are not many folks. Some of them are sleeping on the sofas and on the floor waiting for their flights. When i want to post something in BC, for some reason i have to enter my username and password every time. You can use your own laptop and use their wi-fi service. My wait time is supposed to be more than 7 hrs (arrive @ 1:15am & leaving @ 8:35am). But my plane got delayed leaving Tokyo by abt 30-40 min; had heavy head wind heading from L.A. to Tokyo, thus slowing the plane down. So, since it arrived late in S'pore (around 2 am), then it'll be just over 6 hrs. Hopefully your transit time won't be too long. My transit time going back to L.A. will be even longer. I'll have to wait overnight, more than 10 hrs...
..i have 1 huge suitcase and i really don't know what to fill it with going back home..seriously.. madbad, as for shops or eateries, there are some which are open right now @ the airport. But most are closed. Plus they're a bit pricey. I have a Subway sandwich tucked in my bagpack (from L.A.) to eat so i don't have to spend any extra money.. If you are transiting in the day time and have more 2-3 hrs, you can try to go downtown and get something quick to eat. Right now, all the trains/LRT going to downtown are closed. Only taxis. But nothing to see anyway as they're all closed..
Wow Chris, that's pretty rough. My transit time in Singapore is 5 hours so that's pretty lengthy too. Coming back is no problem: Beijing-Vancouver Well, enjoy your wait in Singapore
I was wondering if they allowed international transit passengers out of the airport. If they do, I will head into town for a look around. I arrive at Changi just before noon.
Spore dollars is very high, that factors into cost of everything in Spore. Looking at your transit time, are you flying KOR air? I did once a long time ago, it took from Canada up Alaska and down with numerous stops and I had to sleep over at Spore airport to catch the plane next morning, faster to catch a train to KL. I flew Cathay and the transit time in HK is 2 hrs I recalled. As for my 3 baggage, there are 95% packed with shopping list from my wife who wants to stock up 2 years of MAS grocery.
off topic-.. ..they sure do!..last time when i visited SE Asia/S'pore, i had abt a 3 hrs layover so i quickly headed downtown to find some yummy dish. Took a taxi, cost me abt Sing$20 one way. Then hurriedly went back to the airport... If you have abt 5 hrs layover in S'pore, then you have enough time to go out. Just go to the Arrival area/Custom area and just show the custom person your ticket/next flight and s/he'll stamp your passport. Should be no problem. Then on the way back, same thing. Better to spend time in downtown S'pore, though you have to spend a bit. ..no, KOR Airline doesn't go through Tokyo from L.A. I'm taking SQ this time. I wanted to fly with either CX or EVA initially, but their schedules and prices just weren't to my liking. Maybe the trip seems so long cos this is my first time flying back to the SE Asia region in 3 yrs..
..if you want to look for some baddy goodies, tell the taxi driver to take you to Bras Basah area. They have a few baddy stores and a food court nearby. Or if you just want to eat, you can try Lau Pa Sat. Or if you want something more fancy, then head to Orchard Rd. ..you might meet Loh..
Yeah, you are right, KOR air is from Seoul...anyway, have lots of fun and enjoy your time in KL, the US$ will make your stay enjoyable..lastly, smack those bolehians with all the mighty baddy power of North America and do not hold back, give it yr all...hahaha!

Hi, sorry, how do you arrive at 9-all? If max per team is 18 players ==> 9 pairs. So, 9 pairs vs 9 pairs (at 1 game each), the score can be 5-4 or 6-3, etc
