^ I note your point But I don't think the chart's horizontal axis merely explains the stiffness of a racket. Victor officially describes it as considerations of (i) frame type, (ii) material, (iii) stiffness, and (iv) technology, which applies the touch of hitting. (quoted from Page 17 of 2013 Victor Asia Catalog) It's getting late here, let's continue our discussion tomorrow.
Got an email from Eric today regarding a quote from long long ago. Saw something unexpected http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=141103499966 Eric has the MX90 for sale now. Only 4UG5 though.
4UG5 s just my specs when the racket is somewhat HH. Just ordered one along with 20 grips and a pair of SH8500E. Christmas comes early this year.
I recently picked up the MX90 3UG5. It's 4/4 on 5 dot scale String Rec. H </= 30# V </= 28#. I have yet to hit with it, let alone string it up..but it feels a touch lighter than the JJS does. But here is a few photos.
taken from Eric's MX90 page on Ebay: currently in stock: (real checked) 87g 87g 87g 87g BP: 292-295mm (all marked with 4UG5) Isn't 4U 82.5 +/- 2.5? Or is Victor's weight system different compared to Yonex?
Those are measured with the double plastic wrap. And his scale is rounding up so it's probably 84g dry!
I really hope eric has a 90 for me to buy before this tournament i'm going to.. i'm certain i'm going to love the 90
Come to daddy!! Hopefully my sprained toe will soon heal up so I can get back on court and compare the MX90 to the JJS.
My rackets have these specs, so a comparison should be pretty easy: MX 90: 4UG5. 292mm / 86g (with plastic) measured by Eric. MX JJS: 4UG5. 290mm / 86g (with plastic)
