I'll have it for tmrw night's session, so I'll know if it's or not. May be too light for you though.

Linus brought along the Duoforce Tuesday night, should've reminded him to bring out to demo.

I'm currently using mx70 and did so for the last 6 months. Prior to that I played with mx60 (among others). I'm considering switching back to mx60 because I keep finding the mx70 too unforgiving - particularly in defence.
I was wondering if mx jjs would be a better choice as it has better materials and is more flexible. I'm an attacking player and the ideea of more flex forgiveness and better power sounds appealing.
Mx 60 was good - easy power - but found it slower than mx70 on fast exchanges.
There were reports that mx jjs doesn't share the same balance with the other meteors (head heavier) while others say it's lighter. What's the truth?

    The JJS is quite stiff.

Very difficult to compare to a yonex, my 8DX now feels dull and lifeless compared to my JJS.

nothing like. jjs is stiffer and head-heavier

actually bslyd plays with more feedback to the hand than jjs. not that jjs is that dampened, it's bravesword that's very very lively

I have the multiple 60's and 70's and 1 jjs and would say the jjs I have definitely feels weighted differently than the other meteors. It might only be a little bit head heavier than the others but it definitely feels beefier/more solid but also slower and much more fatiguing. My wet weight on JJS is 103 g though so that might affect it a little.

Yup it does feel more slower compare to my MX80.
Wet weight is at 98g for a 4U. Was pretty shocked when measured.

Hi Soulsync, I m also interested in MX JJS but surprise to hear from you that it is slower than MX80 even the JJS is in 4U? U are comparing it to MX80 3U or 4U version?

My MX80 3U is quite light in overall, feel like an even balance racket. The head is not really that heavy. And fast to maneuver and swing as well. Just that sometimes its stiffness can let me down at the end of the day when I am tired. Therefore I am considering JJS as a backup, should I get a 3U or 4U JJS for speed and power like the MX80?

    Thanks.

Haha the same reason why i've gotten this JJS :)
Is less demanding but felt much slower compare to my 3U MX80
Maybe due to the weight variation in Victor production
The previous 3U JJS i had weight the same with the now 4U JJS !!! :O
Gonna try hunt for another JJS tat has a wet weight of 92~94g if possible

^ strings were only 8 hr old, too tight... has since settled, will be ready for tuesday :)

but even then, it has a pretty low playing head wt of 40.5g... had to add 0.2g of tape

too light for you, but apparently there's a shortage of 3u

even then, i can't believe eddie's is a 3u... it swings so light...

I did have one of the local retailer put a couple of 3U aside for me, but been too busy to go weight them. :D

I am traveling Monday and Tuesday for business, not sure will be back in town to attend our usual Tuesday night session and try your new toy. Hopefully will make it in.

    My mx70's are 98g and 97g wet. SW 42.5 and 42 - these are 3u. If JJS 3u is 103g and 4u 98g, that's quite a lot!
In UK there are no 4u Victors for some reason...

Yeah it is. Removed the thick Karakal Super PU today and wrap a single bone overgrip over wood.
    Weight @ 96g now. Still an overkill for a 4U racket :(
Definitely slower than my 94g 3U MX80 with overgrip on top of original grip.
    Victor's weight variance ... sigh ~
