Today trend are toward speed & manouver. Its hard to find 3U hammer racket nowdays. Even when the brand release 3U variant, not many seller stock up 3U racket. Like 88D Pro, Yonex release 3U & 4U but its not easy to find 3U & even if a seller had 3U, the qty are so little.
Honestly in level doubles, I would only use 3u hammer for the purpose of training my strength against weaker opponents. Considering most rallies are decided by the first 3 shots, I probably hit the first 3 shots 5x more frequently than a full swing smash. I just can't justify a 3u hammer against good opponents I would want to win against, and I'm a back court player whose strength is smashing For singles and mixed doubles, it's a different story however. We still have the Ax99, 88d, zf2. I believe victor is long overdue for a new attacking series to follow up on thrusters, but it seems they're just content on making new thrusters, which is fine too.
"Mediocre - It's Taiwan-made"? Or, in the style of "maybe it's Maybelline", "Maybe It's Taiwaneeese" ?
I gave up the game two years ago. Better to ask LZJ He won the All England with it, so he's probably happy.
