Frankly I find it quite bizarre that one country is expected to reveal to the world its training secrets that produce excellent players... i never grasp such expectation, really. (That's why I never really grasp Adam Sharara, former chief of ITTF.) Is such expectation applied in other aspects of life? Technology, military, products' recipes, and so on... Just be real, catch up on one's capabilities and efforts!
Korea WD seal second game 21-9. Tie now evenly poised 2-2. Advantage Korea in XD for their experience.
Then what does he said now ? lol WD : KOR : MAS = 22-20, 21-9. 2 korea 2 malaysia. I put my money for Ko Sung Hyun/Kim Ha Na in XD.
All down to XD, will the former World #3s be able to produce an upset against Ko Sung Hyun/Kim Ha Na who have been consistent so far? KSH is prone to pressure situations, and have been the victim of upsets time after time. CPS/GLY isn't at top form, and they've even lost out to relatively unknown players in their recent tournaments to regain ranking. I anticipate it'll be one sided for the Koreans. 3-2 for Korea in a reverse of Malaysia's lead. (but pleaseeeeee, I want to see an upset so badly)
oh yes, hope so... see how consistent this could be maintained upon each and every player... esp GC...
Yes you are right. But then this Malaysia XD former world ranking no 3 before Goh Liu Ying stopped playing and went for her left and right knee surgery. Before the game started, I confidently tell my friend, Lee Yong Dae / Yoo Yeon Seong will surely win their match vs Goh V Shem / Tan Wee Kiong and what has happened? They lost. So now it is very difficult to predict the winners. World ranking is not so important but performance at the court is more important now.
suetyan, You are welcome! You should watch the live action. Nice way to spend a Sunday evening.
I find that the all non-Chinese teams and fans in Table Tennis are much more open and frank compared to their Badminton counterparts, who sorta remain cooped up. The whole table tennis world revolves around the CHN TT team, and they are getting pretty open, with lots of exchanges, common training programs etc. ...... so look at their badminton counterparts....
You may be right. Malaysia can win the XD match no worries. I still remembered that Chan / Goh already won gold, silver and bronze medals despite only playing in 4 tournaments together this year. But then the Korean XD never win any medals this year. Very difficult to predict the winners. I still remembered how Chan / Goh nearly win over China XD ranking no 3, Liu Cheng / Bao Yixin in the semifinals match recently.
Chan/Goh so far giving the koreans a run for their money at 6-9. When they get on the attack, the malaysians are absolutely lethal. Goh showing the koreans what she's made of with a couple steep net kills and change of pace already. If they keep it up and get some key points, I wouldn't rule out an upset.
Who are you supporting blabl.. You aren't the same kor fan at least in my opinion.. Anyways go on buddy you are a lively soul with good expression of emotions..have a good time
