For a companion! Same as above. I know 6U is fragile but I have not heard in terms of how the 5U is in terms of reports on breakage.
I thought this always has 6U only, are you talking about 6g and 5g? In my shop never seen any of 5u, please correct me if I am wrong.
Not in game play. I only swinged it around and it does feel like. A few friends of mine who actually tried it said it feels almost feels like nothing because it's so hollow. That's because the 5U version option is only available in Japan. http://www.yonex.co.jp/arcsaber/arcfb/
What do you mean by that? I hope you'll be able to post up a review soon. I'm really curious whether there are any performance differences between these two rackets. If not, then I think I'll stick with the 6U for the lighter weight.
If I recall, it's just the feeling is a bit lacking upon shuttle impact is what they were trying to tell me when they were using it. I'll try to get a chance on the weekend to try it out when it gets stringed up. Just swinging the 5U around, it does feel a bit different.
I'd guess it would feel very different from the 6U; the percentage weight change is significant and the addition of mass in the head (only guessing here) will change other playing characteristics... so it may feel like a whole different beast. ...or baby beast!
I knew you'd fall for it! All the key words were in place - "percentage" "weight" "change" "significant" "mass" and of course, "head" How could you resist???
Haha! I'm too comfortable with my XP60/70. The Adidas Duoforce may interest me... but these low head wt rackets don't work for me.
