MBS seem to have the BP at 285-295 for this. Wonder how reliable that is?

MBS got the spec sheet direct from Yonex, I think.

I wonder if we'd be entitled to return them if they're off spec...

    Couldn't wait for tonight to try out the ZS with feather, so I went and tried it out with nylon on Saturday night, and here's my personal short review playing with nylon;
    Regular racquet; VTZF 3UG4 with BG80P @ 26/28 #s
    Racquet on trial: NRZS 3UG4 with BG80P @ 26/28 #s

Most shots were quite effortless and easily controlled, except smashing, which were going straight instead of downwards. I figured it's because the shaft was more flexible thus the frame was still facing ahead on contact. Once I started smashing with more focus, timing adjusted and follow thru, they were more effective...but ZF still rules in power smashing IMHO. There were less unforced errors or mishits, which could be due to the larger sweet spot???

Where this racquet's at its best was drives, drops and defense. It was so fast and maneuverability was unbelievably quick that I was returning shots that I, normally wouldn't have. The ZS was so quick that I clipped the top of my mouth with the frame when returning a body smash!! I bled and loved it. My mouth swelled and I didn't care. This new girlfriend is wild and lightening fast.

Will try it out again tonight with feather birds. But so far, I think I can live with this new GF. Smashing can be just as effective with placement rather than power. The quickness of the racquet is quite convincing enough to switch. Still love the ZF color though.

Looks more like a guestimate based on the chart beforehand.

Just bumped into another ~300mm measurement at the badmintoncn forum (unstrung with plastic still on handle). He also balanced it in the air on the same pencil at the same spot:

Tested out the Z-Speed earlier in the week-couldn't give it a proper demo due to time limits, but still enough for a 1st impression.
The racket felt stiff compared to my current Nanoray 700RP and therefore took some getting used too, but honestly none of that mattered when I hit my first smash.
WOW-I've not hit with the z-force so maybe it's just me but my smashes were going twice as fast, at a better angle, and I felt as if I could keep going and I wasn't going to miss.
It is an extremely fast racket, and feels great in the hand-I would buy one if I hadn't just bought my 700 a few months ago!

Mostly doubles, but used to be a singles player. Love playing mixed as well.

My brief personal review on the ZS is based on 2 hours of men's doubles.

I just measured the BP of a Canadian coded ZS, 3UG4, at 295 mm, with the plastic wrap still on the handle.

^ Whereas the 4 samples I measured were bp 300-304mm dry.

In your case, removing the wrapper would shift bp to 297mm or so.

^ Wrap was still on, but I know that the wrap is around 1g consistently and shifts bp by 2mm.

So it's head light without strings.
