how much u bought? in Malaysia, I think the price is close to RM 600 (SGD 300) and it is very hard to find.
one hole is the indentify yonex racquet that are meant for sponsor players like national players, that's mean that racquet is of best quality and NOT FOR SALE... THREE hole???? WORLD CHAMPION maybe??? or Yonex CEO racquet?
I just hope that the 3 small holes in the buttcap is not a "rejected" racquet. Otherwise, I will be very sad :crying:
As a matter of fact Ranking Sports had a couple of them. A few months back, Jenny, the staff-in-charge of the sports section there showed me the whole lot and offered them to me. I think she had about five or six of them then. I was tempted but as I already owned one and I am not a collector of multiple same racquets, I declined. However, I got my friend to buy one as he was looking for a racquet. A couple weeks later I went there again looking at the AT800 Off and Def, she told me she sold all of the Ti10s 2nd gen. She also had a similar small batch of 'discontinued model' order for the Cab30Ms. I bought my Cab30Ms from her.
They are not rejected racquets and they are perfectly all right. I have been told that racquets with these 3 holes markings are assigned for professional players. Not sure how true is that.
No wonder the one with 3-holes felt so different from the other one. Coz both the racquets are strung with BG-65Ti at 25lbs (and the stringing was done in the same shop by the same person) And also both are 3UG4. I was very concerned that 3-holes one could be a rejected racquet because it felt very different. It is very much stiffer and the difference is quite significant. If what u say is true, probably the 3-holes type are specially modified or rather manufactured to a different specification.
some said 2nd gen is the best. some said 3rd gen is the worst. some said 1st gen is still the best of the best. blur
2nd Gen got a very solid feel to it though it's fragile as commented by some. Mine hasn't broke yet 3rd Gen got a very solid feel too as mine is 2U and the stiffness is comparable with 1st Gen. More durable I believe as mine had a major clash and hasn't broke. 1st Gen is hard to find now and some people say it rocks. I never had tried it so I can't really comment on it.
if not mistaken, 2nd gen stopped production :crying: 3rd gen still in production as of this year although you can't find any info of Ti 10 in Yonex website
anyone have any idea when Ti 10 3rd Gen was introduced? i saw Ti 10 3rd Gen in a Yonex 08/09 catalog but in 2009 catalog, there was no Ti 10 3rd Gen anymore :crying: but i still saw Ti 10 3rd Gen with year 2009 cone code
I think Ti-10 is fading out after Tan boon Heong , switch his racket to Yonex Arch z slash and Fu hai feng switch to Li ning N50
