I only saw Dink's machine so far in this forum ....
Do you also have your stringing machine with Wise-2086 ?
Is there any possibility to post the pictures ? Especially for badminton stringing.

    Thanks ...

I'm planning to upgrade mine next month, need some suggestion.
    Mine is Eagnas Combo-912.

yeah, brake mostly for tennis stringing as like string Prince O3 series, for badminton it might be not necessary ....

Indeed. I believe it's only the O3 series that need a brake or boomerang tool. Maybe some other weird frames need it but it can be quite important for an O3 frame.

Jerry, so it's worth buying a Wise tension head then? W&D do a machine that comes with it, somebody recommended it to me and I think it looks quite good but it's not cheap so I want to make sure it's really right for me first.

EVERYBODY (myself included) loses the boomerang. The disc brake came in very handy during my last tournament - loads of O3s:D.

Dan, the W&D machine to which you are refering is basically a pre-assembled version of Dink's set-up - I think the only difference is that the Wise can't be moved. The mounting system is the same as the Pro's Pro Pilot/Eagnas Combo, so I would certainly recommend it unless you can get hold of a cheap cranker and stick a Wise on that.

Watdon uses Pro's Pro Challenger-2 plus Wise2086 while Dink used Eagnas Combo-910. They are 2 different machines (one is drop-weight and table-top, one is crank and up-right), but similar mounting system.
All are same OEM, Pro's Pro is just rebranded of Eagnas.

My question was for the brake system, because Eagnas/Lily & Lee gave me quotation very cheap, buy 2 Challenger-2 = buy 1 Smart-990H (all including shipping cost to Singapore) .... :D

so far Dink and Jerby gave almost similar opinion for Wise 2086 ..... thanks guys.

too bad I'm living so far in Singapore, so have to pay another price for shipping cost, but I will still get it to put into my existing Eagnas Combo-912.

Very nice. I'm sure you'll enjoy it when you're able to use it.

yup, it comes with diablo and footpedal, seller thought I will use with drop-weight which I purchased separately, so they took out the crank bracket without discussion (now still wait for that bracket)

finally my machine is ready .... have strung 3 rackets so far.
    27x29.7 is very tight, speed-2, pre-stretch 10%, foot-pedal.
I really love this Wise 2086, and maybe will not return to crank anymore.
