the FZ Forza N-Forze 100 Slim racket has a rather unique appearance. in addition to the very shiny chrome finish, the two sides of the racket are chromed with different type of chrome. gold on one side and silver on the other one. it is quite a looker and after i started using it, i have had people come up to me asking about the racket. aside from the appearance, the NF100 Slim is a light 4U 82.05g bp292 racket that is very manuverable. the racket is a 76 pattern that is a departure from previous Forza generation. i will have a review coming up as soon as i have spent sufficient time with it. stay tuned.
I am looking forward for your review, kwun... It seems that Forza will join Big giants competition soon...
it has been restrung with ZM62N@25lbs after i took those photos. now waiting for some court time so i can properly test it out. when i got the racket it has some other strings on it which i am not familiar with. now i can do proper testing.
The new ones are supposed to last longer. If you see red zymax strings, you know they're the new version
Yes, these have sold well for us this year! we are now sold out of them! They are very popular with the teenagers here in the UK! plus with some older players as well! They are not actually in the brochure for the new season, however i believe they are still being produced, so get in touch with your friendly local FZ Forza dealer! All of the N-Forze line have the dual chrome design, there are blue (NF 80), green (NF 40) and purple (NF 60) ones (with different specs) follow me on twitter @badderz_alpha
I wonder when rackets will have 2 different sides of stiffness... 1 stiff side for smashing, 1 medium side when you get tired/needing extra power for flat drives.
Played with all of them except for the 100. I liked the NF 80 most but the feeling was not solid enough for me. I was wondering if the 100 slim was stiffer. There was a large difference between the 3 other rackets in stiffness, weight and balance. I would categorize them as mid range rackets, but only based on the 40, 60 and 80 slim. Wrist players will like these rackets.
Yes, they go up in number order in the range.. 40 being the low end and 100 being the top end of the NForze line...
my god..this is so sexy. when will it hit our shores in Singapore? hehe just for the sheer beauty of it.
The only thing I want to know is the following. Is this racket more head light than the Ti290 from Forza? I tested the Ti290 for a week and thought that it was really good. The frame is the most torque free I have ever played, while the shaft isn`t the stiffest. I didn`t bought the racket cause I am used to head light rackets and the Ti290 was just not as fast as I wanted it to move. It was kind of lacking behind. I will be able to give a review around next week. The owner of a local store told me that this would be the only racket left that would make sense to try out considering my playstyle. I hope he is right.
Looks great... any ideas on when this will be released in the UK? And any more details on the balance point / stringing tensions etc? Thanks
