My money is on the current #1. Many other pairs can win it but I have a feeling they have the highest chance.
Although the chance is small and diminishing, I'd like the taipei pair to cause a kafuffle. It intrigues me how somebody who can't serve can do so well Not a serious bet, but one that's fun ^^
do you follow the latest H2H of ZZ vs the European pairs (either in European or Asian grounds)? purely a question here i do not follow closely the stats but believe that ZZ have been improving their records over them lately (esp. Fischer/Pedersen).
Will Lee Yong Dae be able to explode like what he did in Beijing four years ago ? The problem is Ha Jung Eun is the pair's biggest liability. Just like Xu Chen being the liability to Majin. Otherwise both pairs have a great shot at Gold.
Yes, they have been improving. Maybe Z/Z found a way to beat F/P.. But I am sure F/P have been improving too.
They wont meet until the semifinal. Get past the group stage first before thinking about them. Who knows one of them might be unlucky enough to be in a group of death.
Request for correction on the players' names: 1. Chen Hun Ling/Cheng Wen Hsing > should be Chen Hung Ling 2. Alexandr Nikolaenko/Valeri Sorokina > should be Valeria Sorokina
Can use this link for all the official players' names (for the other events as well), so they're all consistent coming from 1 source : http://www.bwfbadminton.org/page.aspx?id=14955 In 2008 U.S. Open GP, she used the name Valeria Sorokina...so could be a typo or just different variation for her name.
Haha..If you look at the poll, they are ranked 5th. Just giving them moral support as a fellow countryman and nothing about the "boleh" thing.
