Hi guys, Whats a good place to string rackets in singapore? I have 3 rackets and only 3 days to string them. Thanks in advance
Depends on where u located. If you are in the north. Artric Pacific Sports @ 9 Sembong Road is a gd place.
I stay in Punggol... where is the nearest place to get a good stringing job? I normally go to Sintec at Tampines but I feel it's a bit far.
yeah! 20mins. if you have two racquets, his wife will help too as they have a couple of stringing machines.. in the mean time head over to the delicious curry fish head nearby..
or try the white bee hoon http://lovesingaporefood.blogspot.com/2009/04/sembawang-white-bee-hoon.html http://thesilverchef.blogspot.sg/2011/11/sembawang-white-bee-hoon.html
wah.. i've not eaten the beehoon for years already.. used to have it weekly till i got sick of it, not only the taste but the insane queues that still exist today!!... i think in the time to get a seat, mr lim would have strung at least a couple of racquets already..
I stay at balestier, want to restring my racket. Usually I went to Queenway to restring once a month, but is too far for me. Anyone can advice on where to get the best restring nearest to balestier?
Probably Bishan (MB Sports) or Ang Mo Kio (E-Link) if you hop onto the train from Novena. Cant comment on "best restring" as everybody's expectation is different I believe Sportslink at Shaw Plaza offers stringing service but not sure of the stringing standards and pricing.
Went to gala at ground floor. Near side entrance to the shopping Center nearest to SCDF. The person who strung my rackets was Hartono. A nice guy and well experienced. Gonna test it out over the weekend.
I frequent Chau Beng Sports at Queensway, but normally restringing requires 3 business days. Last Saturday, the boss was on leave, so I tried Paragon Sports on the same floor. I was lucky the machines were empty and got my 2 rackets done in 1 hour. Excellent job, if not better than Chau Beng. Free grip per racket some more. I'm bringing another 2 to Paragon Sports to restring later.
Had my YY Arc11 and Karakal BN60 strung in 1.5 hours by Paragon Sports just now. Selected 2 Adidas overgrip. The young lady did an excellent job again. 1.5 hours because she had 2 in queue as I walked in .... Yes, a couple of times, the boss at Chau Beng Sports told me the normal waiting time is 3 Bus.Days. If you buy racquet from him, he'll string it for you in an hour .... I can see he has a lot of racquets in queue, and he has to tend to the shop as well .... but, I am a bit impatient to wait 3 bus.days .....
I will prefer to go to the shop at bedok -Smashing Max at blk 510 bedok north street 3 #01-31 Singapore 460510. Fast stringing it take only 20mins to string for non peak period. Good and skillful.
