Predictions involving INA players: WS QF Pai Hsiao Ma [5] vs Lindaweni Fanetri - with no CHN player in the bottom half, there's a chance for Linda to progress to another Final. Hopefully, she can beat Pai. MD QF Anton Ivanov/Ivan Sozonov [1] vs Markus Fernaldi Gideon/Agripinna Prima Rahmanto Putra [7] - the lanky Russian has an edge. But there's still a chance for an upset. Vountus Indra Mawan/Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari vs Markis Kido/Alvent Yulianto Chandra [5] - Kido/Alvent can go all the way to the Final. WD QF Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth/Rizki Amelia Pradipta [4] vs Emelie Lennartson/Emma Wengberg [8] - Pia/Rizki are hoped to fulfill their seeding. Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Anneke Feinya Agustine [5] vs Choi Hye In/Kim So Young - Nitya/Feinya hold a 1-0 H2H record. They can progress to the SF. Komala Dewi/Jenna Gozali vs Pradnya Gadre/Ashwini Ponnappa - let's see if the INA pair can win their best result so far. XD R32 Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir [1] vs Tarun Kona/Ashwini Ponnappa - Towi/Butet should progress. Terry Yeo Zhao Jiang/Dellis Yuliana vs Mohd Rijal/Debby Susanto [3] - ditto for Rijal/Debby. Riky Widianto/Richi Puspita Dili [6] vs Sudket Prapakamol/Saralee Thoungthongkam [2] - it's time for Riky/Richi to step one level up and try to beat the top 10 pairs. They will be expected to be there anyway sometime next year. A rubber-set is expected.
agree with badmania prediction, except for jenna/komala, according to pbsi website, jenna is injury during yesterday match...
That was a sad news indeed. Yes, according to PBSI website they will still play at Quarter Final today, however it will be tiring for Dewi since she will cover up Jenna. Hope a speedy recovery for Jenna.
My personal highlight for the day would be hoping to see Li Gen/Zhang Nan getting destroyed by Taiwanese Lee Sheng Mu and dude... I'll also be following Alvent/Kido vs Vountus/Fuzzy ... both scheduled as the last matches of the first session for the day, in court 1 and 2 respectively. Don't get me wrong... I love Li Gen's attitude on court, I find it absolutely amusing, filled with bouts of teenage angst and arrogance (though in reality he's past the teens). And... he's such a Cai Yun wannabe that you could almost tell that he's been practicing Cai Yun style strokes, as well as "Cai Yun's facial expressions" upon winning each point. hahahahaha!
it got me scratching my head as well... no livescore... matches are probably delayed for some reason. we'll find out...
Is there any delay?.. Already 30 mins gone past the scheduled timing.. Is there any further delay?.. Even welsh international is in live streaming.. But macau open ??
