FULL ENTRY LIST : http://badmintonasia.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Full-Entry-List2.xls China registered all their elites included twice Olympic Champion, Lin Dan as his name is in the list while Cai/Fu will be absent.
I'm glad to see many of the top Chinese players registered for this tournament! This will make the tournament very competitive. Good to see that Guo Zhendong is back. But very disappointed that Hong Wei is playing with Shen Ye again, instead of his new parter Chai Biao. Also very disappointed that Zhang Nan is absent from the MD. Disappointed that Zhao Yunlei/Cheng Shu are absent from the WD. Interested that Hong Wei is playing the XD event with Tang Jinhua.
Very, very nice line-up. Last year Kim/Kim put up a superb performance to win the MD. But this year almost all Asian superstars are going at it. I really like it. Ofc the most interesting thing is that Mr. Lin Dan is registered. If he plays we will finally see how much work he has to do to get back to his form or did he already trained that hard, that he is almost back to a good form?! For me it is also a good sign that KO Sung Hyun starts to play Mixed (with Kim Ha Na) again. He is also registered for the India SS with Kim. Maybe it helps him to be more "relaxed" in MD with Lee. Not sure what CHN is doing in the MD with the continues switching between the dangerous Hong/Chiao combination and the average (ofc on world top niveau) pairings Hong/Shen and Chiao/Guo.

So many Afganisthan and Bangladesh players are there. Very good sign to badminton. I hope this players will get a good knowledge in this championship.
What's wrong with INA players? TOWI/BUTET are skipping this tournament Lindaweni is also skipping this where she has showed us a good run on AE2013. Hmm..Let's see how far INA MD and XD can cruise through this tournament.
TS link for this event is up: http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/tournament.aspx?id=4BF258AD-F6BC-4598-AF71-0C709469A43D Of course, it is still too early to find any data there...
How come no one else has posted the draw yet? http://badmintonasia.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Draws-Badminton-Asia-Championships-2013.xls Seems strange to look at a draw where Lin Dan isn't a seeded player...
Interesting, luckily he's in the opposite half from Chen Long. Hope to see them clash in the final. Not so lucky for Sun Yu playing in the qualifiers but slated to face LXR in R1 !
Interesting... India has sent 2nd tier players here. Saina is absent. And also, without sending Ajay jayaram, they are sending Sai Praneeth and Sourabh verma to play. Let's see what these guys will do here. Sindhu will face Shixian in the second round. I think that this would be her first time meeting her.
