We need more information about you. What's your level of play? Singles or doubles? Weaks and strengths?
Hi , Thanks for your reply , here's more about me ; Level of play : beginner - intermediate Singles/doubles : both , mainly double Weakness : backhand backcourt clear , bad footwork for net play Strengths : decent smashes , drop shot Regards
Focus as in like maybe footwork ? And I wish to know what type of drills will they most likely ask us to do so that I can get myself prepared Regards
it's a trial... You play. You can't learn or train at a trial so there is nothing to concentrate on other than playing.
the best way to approach this is to relax and do your best, but mostly importantly have fun! it's not the end of the world if you don't make it to the team, so try to have fun while trying hard to perform well!
to be honest, badminton is kinda like the SATs(an american college entrance exam). it requires you to start when you're still young and as you learn, you'll improve. the worst/best part of it is that you can't do anything last minute because the skills you've learned takes time to acquire whether it be via drills/training and sometimes playing higher level opponents.
Eat good meals the days leading up to it so you are at your peak performance. Maybe a little bit of conditioning if its more than a week away might do you some good.
