yeah its like a OG in malaysia. lcw vs lindan one lone ranger, always try his best in every tournament, win some small but lost the big one vs a gang who 'i help u,u help me' but won many big one
Though Rituparna Das and Rutwika Shivani lost, they have fight brilliantly against japanese girls.. Infact. Rituparna Das went on for three games and in the rubber, she lost it very closely 23-21... She need to concentrate on mental strength during the last stages of the match ... I appreciate both the girls..
I don't like both of them. Whoever wins is still not going to "solve" cronies problem. Just shifting only. Maybe a change will do slight improvement but need a new hero, someone who can do a big bang. Anyway, just my opinion and this is not the right thread. Back to LCW and LD, I also feel there is a need for a new, younger king with different character.
hmm, never try never know, after try, hari hari mau. i thought u are indonesian for sure not chen long, hehe
I am Indonesian so I won't vote. Just my observation on Malaysia. Same thing in Indonesia, many choices but I think nothing much will change. But there are hopes with some younger people.
Wow! So, finally Sameer verma is back...I actually have higher hopes for Sameer than Srikanth or Pranoy as the former used to beat the other 2 quote easily in his junior days..
He probably wanted to do a marathon run back to KL in order to improve his fitness and make it by Saturday but he changed his mind after the first game
The experimentation to pair Irfan Fadhilah with Sri Wulan Sari and Alfian Eko Prasetya with Weni Anggraini has failed this week. Both scratch pairings lost. Meanwhile, Praveen Jordan/Vita Marissa and Edi Subaktiar/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja have progressed to R16. Currently, Lukhi Apri Nugroho/Annisa Saufika are engaged in a tight battle with Liu Yi/Yao Lei.
And Lukhi/Annisa make it to R16 after a tight 21-19 victory in the rubber-set. They will face the senior pair of Markis Kido/Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth [2] for a place in the last 8.
What an ending in the XD match between Chen Zhuofu/Huang Yaqiong and Markus Fernaldi Gideon/Variella Aprilsasi! The CHN pair was leading 20-14 and had 13 match pts during the last set, only to be saved by the stubborn INA pair and the independent pair eventually took it 30-28! They will face Chayut Triyachart/Peeraya Munkitamorn for a place in the QF.
MS R32 Loh Kean Yew vs Alamsyah Yunus [12] - Alam is the only INA player left in the MS draw. He should fulfill his seeding. XD R16 Danny Bawa Chrisnanta/Vanessa Neo Yu Yan [3] vs Edi Subaktiar/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja - a learning experience for the "new" pairing of Edi/Gloria. It will be a pleasant upset if they could beat the more experienced and higher ranked SIN pair. Ong Jian Guo/Lim Yin Loo vs Praveen Jordan/Vita Marissa - it was a near scare for the newly-minted NZ Open Winner in their first match just now. I hope they could progress to at least QF to further boost their ranking. There will still be plenty of GP & GPG events (Thailand, Vietnam, Chinese-Taipei, Korea, Macau, and India) in the region and perhaps all the 3 home events (INA IC, GPG, SSP) and some SS (Singapore and Hong Kong) that they can participate in to increase their ranking to the top 16 (target: 35,180 pts; at the moment, already have 22,790 in just 6 tourneys) by end of this year. Markus Fernaldi Gideon/Variella Aprilsasi vs Chayut Triyachart/Peeraya Munkitamorn - if Markus/Lala can win this one, INA is guaranteed a spot in the XD SF. Lukhi Apri Nugroho/Annisa Saufika vs Markis Kido/Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth [2] - young guns vs experienced top 10 pair. Lukhi/Annisa will surely climb up to the top 25 soon and this will be another learning experince for them. A rubber-set will be satisfying for me.
