i was watching the All England with Lin Dan and Peter Gade. As i watched lin dans footwork i see him sometimes drag his foot. When you go to lunge for a shuttle do u drag your foot on the side , or drag it with the toe down. i see peter dragging with the toe down. :????

    Agree with cooler.
Dragging non-racket foot side is the best and correct way.
I don't think dragging on toe is good, like coller said, it could be hazardous.

i think side of the toe is ok.
the whole idea is to keep you non racket foot heel low to the floor for fast recovery.

Actually I think dragging on the corner of the shoe is ideal, if you drag with the whole side of the shoe on the floor this places more stress on the non racket leg knee, which is not designed to be stressed in that direction
