Which would you prefer and why?

Both have goods and bads, I wanna hear from more experienced players =)

Staying consistent and waiting for your opponent to screw up (if he does), or jump smashing where you have a high chance of winning the point but building fatigue?

    Hi,
I would prefer to call them defensive Vs offensive play.;) I always remember the days when Liem Swie King was palying against Han Jian at Singapore badminton hall. Have u seen the video or live telecast then? That was the game of offensive vs defensive style of playing. In the end, defensive style prevailed.the climax was explosive and exciting:eek: U should have seen it. The King was so frustrated that he threw his racket on the floor.:crying: Again, it depends on the skills of the player at the time.:p whoever is better always prevail.:p
    Matrix.:D

both consistent and power have their own goods. if u want to play consistentsy game then u have to have the stamina to play because most consistent players like to play long rallies. usualy the player that use power to play is they are used to short rallies by ending their rallies with their smash.
it will be good if u have this 2 skills. if me, i usualy play power game...:D

It would depend on what you already have doesn't it? I mean if you already have great stamina and great recovery then gaining extra power in your smash and smashing alot couldn't hurt you... and the same thing goes in vice versa.
