very disappointed! there should be some details in hk badminton association's website. but um................. what date is it today? 31st of july huh!........ still nothing there! what can i say!!! nevertheless, that is the website. http://www.hkbadmintonassn.org.hk
Hong Kong Open 06 Yah Man, This website sucks big time. Everything is so outdated incl the ppl that run the show. I think i can spend my time better elsewhere.
you can see the details at about 20/8 l worked in HK badminton association before, peoples doing nothing there. So do not expect HKBA always update the webpage. They like to do the things until the last minutes.
Ya...I can't argue with taufik-ist...The Aviva website is the best website that i ever seen....It is fantastic...I hope the coming tournaments can be like the Aviva...
Does anyone know how to obtain tickets for the Hong Kong Open? Is it possible to buy tickets for the event on the day or must tickets be bought in advance?
Tickets should be available on the day. However, Final tickets could be tough to get in the last minute as the capacity of the QE stadium is pretty small. I managed to get ticket for quarter-final last year without any problem.
Ok, thanks for the info. I don't think I'll still be in Hong Kong for finals day but I'm planning on going on maybe quarter or semi final day
anyone going to the HKO? ticket prices are quite expensive - HKD300 and HKD350 for semi finals and final respectively. ticket will be on sale on 10 August. will try to attend the semi and the finals though.
Indeed..it's quite expensive. I might not be back till the middle of the week, so, I would probably attend only the QF onwards. They seem to have increased the price for the cheapest ticket from HKD20 to HKD30...an increase of 50%
Like last year, it promises to be a good-quality event....in fact, last year's event attracted almost all the top players...and probably the best 6* event of that year in terms of participation.
300 HKD is expensive? Hmm..Is it for front row seats? Oh yea forgot..does anyone know where in HK u can get these tickets? My mom is going to help me get tickets first..before I go back..Thanks Thanks
