....and guess what...he rejoins Djarum. Frans Kurniawan also drops out from Pelatnas...perhaps after seeing Rian Sukmawan flourishing with Eng Hian. Djarum is going to pair Sigit with Frans.....
Bola said so Yup. According to the latest edition of Bola, Sigit will be paired with Frans. They will compete in the European Superseries this March... It is more fun that more good Indonesian pairs are out there....
I wondered what had happened to Sigit... has he been on the national team all this time, but not competing?
You can find in this link.. ...http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33855 (post#9)..Btw, thanks badMania and Krisna for the update..
Go Sigit Go!! Rah rah hurrah really happy to hear that Sigit will be competing in the European Superseries next month..hope he and his new partner will do well..all the best sigit!
Sigit is a legend! Though it is largely his fault that I have no forehand defence against smashes, I just spend all my time trying to copy his amazing backhand defence on the forehand side. I hope he does really well, he is a real character and the badminton scene has missed him.
oh cool...sigit is going on court again...!!! he's famous with his trick shots especially when he returns the smashes to the opponent in between his legs..oh man..9 out of 10 times of those trick shot were success..!!! and also a trick shot tht i couldn't get wat was tht which is when he returns the shuttle by squatting down~ King of Trick Shot = Sigit Budiarto
And who can forget when during the final of the 2005 Malaysia Open (I think?) he ran off the court during a heated rally to switch racquets..
It was the Singapore Open 2005 Final against Boe/Mogensen of Denmark ..it was Candra who ran on the side of the court to pick up a new racket.....
WOooooooOow!!! Ko Candra actually got the time to take racket?? Heeeh, GREAT!!! Poor Mas Sigit, he must cover Ko Candra's area too... Yan2, I will ask him.. But the prblm is that he nvr reply my SMSes... Are you going to watch All England?? Take some good pics, and send it to me??!!! And send him my regards... But, the Aviva sgpr open is not confirmed yet, as I said, he nvr reply my msgs.. :crying: Yaaah, I'll see when he replies, I'll tell you all..
Oooops! My memory is very fuzzy! Well it was a nutso move anyway.. and props to Sigit for holding the fort
Aiya.. Ya, I'm going to All England. Okay, no problem. Send who your regards??? Candra or Sigit? Faint, I suddenly want to see Frans too.. Pray for them to go to AE. You know Hendri from Singapore sent me regards yesterday. In Denmark Open, I was introduced to him, but he was so so so MALU. Faint.
Everyone you see!! HAhahaha.. Esp, Ko Candra, Mas Sigit and Ko Simon sori-sori.. Let's give Mas Sigit a nickname shall we?? Hehehe, and Ko Candra... LMAO!! Hmmm, so wierd, when he actually can speak English so well... ^^
LOL Ko Sori Sori.. HAHAHAHAHA.. Sigit.. Let us (Tarek, Mei Ying, me etc) meet him first, then only we know what nickname to give him .. Oh I see, the older generation of Indo players can speak English quite well.
Hwahahahahhahahhaha!!! I believe you should give him... Mas Halus... Which means soft... Hahahahaa, since he talks very soft, unlike when he's in the court!!! Well, that's not really true... I'm sure once they go international often, they will eventually learn and imrpove their english language... Ko Candra and Mas Sigit hv went all over the world to play, and it has been quite a long time, I'm sure that has improved their english.. And those younger plyrs, i'm sure they can speak well too, since the schools nowadays teach english too.. aNd they are like, what, 20-25 yrs old only.. So, I'm sure their english are actually standard, maybe not those large bunky words, yan, those easy words they can understand, I'm sure!! And, moreover, they may be scared and mentally unprepared to speak english, that's why they seemed not so good... Hahahahhaha... Blank out!!!!
