I'd like to see what other people do when they get a shuttle right in the chest, or if it hits you at all for that matter. I remember one time my net shot was just a little too high and my opponent net killed it into my chest from about 4 inches away. I decided not to give him a boost by showing my pain. Anyone else do that?
pick up the shuttle and let the game go on? unless it hits you in the face, it shouldn't really hurt that much.
How does this relate to badminton "Technique and training"??? Maybe you should train to make better net shot, so you don't end up "eating" the shuttle after-all. Or maybe at least get out of the way(or couch under the net), so the shuttle won't hit you
it's expected that it's possible to get hit during a match if you don't really dislike the smasher for other reasons, it's okay unless that guy goes wild and annoys you...
Well if I get hit, then you can't blame ur opponent because ultimately, it's urself that gave the opponent the opportunity to let them net kill, or if they smashed from thr back, u were to slow to react to avoid it. So I just continue on with the game and call myself "STUPID"
Werd, if I hit my opponent when smashing, I usually apologize when the play is over. If I get hit, its not really a big deal unless they are constantly going for my head, then I need to change my game plan since my current strategy is not working.
Just continue the game. Unless it was a point-blank smash from the front of their court to the front of your court, it shouldn't hurt too badly. Unless you're playing FHF...
are games that hostile? My opponent apologize, or crack a joke... just fall over backwards like you were shot
if its in the chest i jus make it out like i was supposed to chest the shuttle then hit it back, it actually looks quite stylish lol
Take off your shirt and then rub the wound whilst smiling at your opponent. If that doesn't freak them out and take them out of their game, nothing will. Afterall, it's a mind game too, no?
LOL!!! i usually let the game go on and forget about it. unless its with my friends, we laugh together
shuttles are harmless. unless they hit your eyes, the rest of your body can take a shuttle hit. They fly fast but due to their weight, they lose their power almost immediately upon impact. Just a small bruise is what you get. Im more concern about rackets thou cause i hit my knee and finger a couplke of times when receiving body smashes.
Easy! I get revenge, I hit him back with two chest shots. And if it's a her, ask her if she wants a new mixed partner.
