Hi Elder Player..... Thanks for the post. I've been looking for it, I live in Pak so I couldn't view ASTRO or RTM. I've downloaded TVU player and I could only see CCTV5 on that. Thanks for the post. By the way could you tell me whats the diffrence between a TV Player and a P2P, or they're same things.
Sopcast P2p Tv P2PTV refers to peer-to-peer software applications designed to redistribute video streams on a p2p network, typically TV stations across the world. Many P2PTV applications make use of the BitTorrent technology. http://www.streamingstar.com/download-p2ptv.htm has additional information. To get GD Sports, etc. on the 'Net, go to www.sopcast.cn and download the sopcast player. PPmate, TVAnts, etc. players also work but I have found sopcast to be more reliable (that is I have been able to watch complete matches using sopcast).
HI..... Thanks for all the info...... I installed the sopcast software, and played some channels through it, It was amazing .........I hope I can see the All England Matches Live ...... By the way do you know any software to record the matches which is played through Sopcast on the Moniter? Thanks and regards Jalil
Hi Elder Player, I got one more request, The above times mentioned for the broadcast are chinese TIme?? Because I've to settle myself with those times to see the matches. Thanks
with sopcast you can record the matchs and play it again later on... The quarter Final starts around 5.30 UK time, Semi final and Final starts 12.30. Now as far as I am aware of Pakistan is GMT+5 (so its 5 hours ahead of UK time)..
Hi. thanks for the reply. Can you please tell me how is it possible to record the matches and play later on?? I'll be very thankful if you could guide me.....
If you are using the current version stand-alone sopcast player (not the sopcast player embedded in an Internet Explorer window), there is a red button on the top row of the video player that is the record button. Select this button and you will be asked for the name and folder that you want for the recording. Supply the name and the recording will start. To play back, use any player that can play asf (Windows media) files on the file name that you supplied to the sopcast player. Note that you should have lots of free disk space because the asf file can get quite large.
Thanks dear.......... Thanks alot dear.....I was able to do it....I hope I can get the matches to see live.....By the way times mentioned for the matches are England times or China Times???? YEs I've almost 20 GB free....... Once again thank you very much for your assistance dear . Regards Jalil
its easy just go to your computer watch and see the time zone of england (Beijing and Hong Kong is GMT + 8.00) so its 8.00 hours ahead of UK time
Or you can use software like Windows Media Recorder but you have to buy that. The Sopcast recording button dont work for me, so I use WMR. Oh yeah, the time Elderplayer posted are in GMT. Pls google for World Clock to check the time difference with your country. Apparently www.planetbadminton.tv is showing AE live from qualifying onwards. But it seems to be paid to watch site as stated in the other thread. For these websites, you need to use software the WMR to record the matches. If you cant watch those, there's always livescore : http://tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=19511&y=2008&m=3&d=4 click on "Visual Livescore" top right hand corner, all match times in UK time. And someone will upload (if from RTM, Aerotus) the Semi & Finals if tv is showing. This year, more tv stations are featuring this prestigious event other than the usual like Spore cable tv, Indonesia cable tv. No different, CCTV5 is not showing AE. Beijing Sports is Beijing Sports, there is such a channel. China, HK, Msia, Spore are 8 hours ahead of UK. Google for world clock or use a world clock widget. I have a cute yahoo widget that shows exact time of the city I want, it's free too. No need to count every time.
Both are different. Shanghai Sports & GD Sports are different channels. Both are showing QF. Google for world clock for the itme difference or just download free world clock software, I have one on my screen showing UK time. When it's Swiss Open, I'll put up Swiss time on it. Click on the tv link I posted, save it on your favourites.
Save this on your browser favourites so next time no need to ask http://www.pprecorder.com/tvguide.php?channel=Guangdong+Sports&year=2008&month=3&date=7 It's 17.26(5.26 pm) GMT, GMT. Elderplayer already posted that. + 8 hours for Msia Shanghai sports not showing QF live but delayed
For Indonesia badminton fans,Global will broadcast AE Live on saturday N sunday 19:30.Hope they will not cancel it
