hi, my arms kinda sore after playing badminton for a while and i got a tournament tomorrow, what kinda stretches or stuff do you do to get out the soreness and stuff, atm im just putting a ice pack on it.
The soreness is from using a particular body part (muscle) enough to make it tired. time is the key, because your muscles are tired you need time to let it recover. What I suggest is that don't go full out every match, if you know the opponent is weaker don't do smashes as often. Stretches are for getting more blood in an area to warm it up so you reduce chances of injuries. There are plenty of stretching exercises just try looking it up and stretching most of your body out.
