hi guys,, i have been playing since a long time and regularly . i feel sometime while i am playing that i have reduced speend and endurance alot ... and players not good than me also beat me up sometimes....:crying: i have never undergone a coach for this .. have practiced alot of drill but with outa coach.... is this a reson for able to increase my speed... what all drills shd i pratice to get back into form...... plz help.............
You can try skipping. It helps with the footwork. Makes you feel 'lighter' and more versatile on the court.
skipping with weights is pretty good do nice light fast skips. IF you have hte "light" feeling, well tahts what you want haha =) oh ya skip on your toes =)
Using foot or ankle weights is not a good idea for jumping or running. This has been discussed several times before. This practice is not good for feet, ankles, knees, and possibly hips and lower back. Do some research on this. Try doing some cardio workout 2 or 3 times a week to develop a good aerobic base. Work up 20 minute sessions or longer. Two 10 minute sessions are almost as good. To work on burst endurance, also engage in interval training (plenty of threads on this one as well).
