you can always use a mirror and work on your swing and all that to make sure that your in the proper form or you can bounce a shuttle on your racquet and all that wonderful stuff to work on some touch when your at the net. yes nothing is as good as actually being on court but theres probally some more stuff that you can do at home.

a shuttlecock launcher at home though? if your using it in your backyard then yeah i could see that being a lil effective but it would be way better to use something like that on a badminton court itself would be more useful there since you have a net and the court plus no wind or limiting ceiling height. good find none the less.

can't really practice at home unless you have alot of space...
either bounce the birdie around w/ your racquet to get a better sense of the birdie movement.
or just train legs and arms, i usually do skipping and leg exercises at home

thats true, i know there is a youtube video on the new zeland badminton team and in part of the video it showed how they were doing footwork excersizes outside so a person can always do that at home as well.
