I was wondering, as most of you know the S serve is illeagal in badminton games.
But what if it wasnt a serve?
Like for example if someone makes an incredibly awkward lift or so that makes the cork face upwards and feathers down ,you execute the same motion you'd do if youre doing the S serve, would it still be illegal?

(just wondering because that happened to me and a friend while playing doubles and i happened to do an S serve/shot and since people at school didnt know about the S serve, they counted it as a point for us)

I think its legal, since you're allowed to kill a tumbling net shot 2. Also because i think it's not in your favour if you hit the feathers first. And by S serve you mean Sidek-serve rite? For the people who don't know it, you hit the feathers first

im quite sure if your playing a regular shot during a rally no matter how wierd it turns out its ok. But if its off a serve the slice serve is illegal.
