i was tidying up the garage the other day and saw the 13 racket bags that i got from purchasing my rackets. almost everybody nowadays have a 6+ racket bag to go to the gym so these are neglected. all of them are full length and are of pretty good quality as well. i find it wasteful to put them in the trash (oh god, that would be a sin), but find no use for them either. is anybody facing the same problem?
wow! and I thought 3 was bad!! -.-" maybe sell them back to Yonex?? haha... i doubt they'd take them tho private collectors? Just a thought
i'd take some pretty cool for collectors though.. don't think your spouse (if applicable) would understand though
Ha...I was just gonna say that... I did see some up for bid on ebay. Or you can do what SGVBC did, hang them on a big empty wall and see if you can cover the whole wall.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1575478538 here's one for ya~ $8.59USD already! Wow!! No time to post, I gotta go home and dig around in my garage now.......
hm.. sound treatment for the wall... how come i never thought of that? ebay: $9 a piece is more than US$100... that's a new racket right there....
Hmm...noticed that this one was categorized under Racquet Sports: Badminton. Guessed what? eBay.com do not have this category but eBay UK does. This is another indicator of the popularity of badminton in the US, eh?
I have one of those big gym bag that could hold 6+ racquets but I found it too bulky to carry around. I now use a smaller travel bag for my shoes and a tube of shuttles. Then I use one of the racquet bage and put two racquets in it. That is much easier to manage. When you are sweating and tired for all the games, you would want to lug around a huge bag with all your equipments. Ben
sun visor, back seat cushion, might not be as comfortable though. put them on the roof inside the car, I don't know, it's kwun's car, he can do whatever he wants.
here is one. stuff them with foam and make cushions out of them... that's actually not a bad idea. hehe.
I can envisioned it now. You come into the house and off to your right is the living room all decorated with badminton bags and accessories and racquets. Sitting down on the couch (in the shape of a giant shuttle with a section of the features cut out for you to sit), you hug a cusion in the shape of a badminton bag. The coffee table is actually a glass top sitting on a series of badminton shafts. Anyone getting any ideas for badminton furniture? OMG, I just had too much time on my hands!
