Anyone know of a good book on badminton singles (and doubles)? I'm looking to improve my tactics and stratigical play. Thanks, Justin
There was a singles pdf floating around a couple years back, but I never read through it. I think it did discuss tactics though.
this what your looking for? http://www.badmintonbible.com/articles/ it has singles and doubles tactics
I actually have it on my computer. There's also one for doubles (no idea where it is on my desktop though). The book is called, "Winning Badminton Singles" by Jake Downey. This is a very very old book. Here's a review by Gollum on another book: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33683
"Winning Badminton Singles" by Jake Downey is a very good starting point-One every badminton player must read. You can get the PDF fiels from www.Badminton.TV/ Thank god-This is available under free section-A freat service to badminton. Thanks Prince
Winning Badminton Singles by jake Downey is a very good starting point to learn more about singles. I would also suggest you watch as many singles matches as you can and try to understand the tactics being used. Make notes on different tactics used and why you think they are being applied. Hope this helps To your success in 2010 Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
