...just to get started (taken from various sources)..India's best hope for a Gold medal in badminton..
Its very rare to find professional badminton players in Reebok attire, unlike the tennis pros. Just wondering is this a one-off sponsorship by Reebok just for the Commonwealth Games?
I noticed that too. Either it's a one off or Reebok are planning a massive invasion into the badminton scene. I pray it's the latter
In Commonwealth Games & Olympics it is quite common for teams to be using a kit sponsored by the overall team sponsor, not the individual association's sponsor. Eg. Indian Commonwealth Team not the Indian badminton association. So I assume the main team is supplied by Reebok & the yonex kit has to be not used in the tournament.

Why the yonex word are not at player's shirt? i meant behind the shirt. I saw sri lankan player purposely put a red tape to cover it..
may be no money to buy the allowed shirts , you gotta check CWG contracts I remember the funny stories during (boring) soccer WC in Germany couple of years ago then even the Germans were forced to drive Koren cars and fixed Brands in the arenas were taped as well
no pics of Malaysian players strangely in Getty Images... anyone has any pics of MAS or other pics from elsewhere?
No advertising on shirt in these type of events. Another example: no YY logo on the sleeve and back during Olympics.
Yonex shuttles and there is also a Yonex Stringing Team here. We are limited to one logo per item, so only the logo at the front of the shirt, because the back logo is too big. It's not as strict with warm up and training though, where it doesn't really matter what you wear there.
They were debating about the bag logos and racquet stencil logos, but in the end it's okay. Not quite as strict as Olympics.
Talking about logos, I saw Xing Aiying playing with Yonex logo on her racquet. But she wears a Li Ning shirt.
That's cause the Singapore National Team is sponsored by Li Ning whereas her individual sponsor is Yonex.
..ok lah, here are a few more photos for all the M'sian BCers of the MAS Gold winning team..as well as a couple of pics of the silver and bronze medalists..(taken from several sources)..
