On the Yonex Website the recommended string for power players is BG80.

    I have tried BG66UM strung at 24lbs
I find it has a lot of power especially for a string which 0.65mm

lol that is true because it is durable and has power
but most low end rackets are already strung with Bg65

The most popular because every mid/low end yonex racket comes factory strung with it....

There is no best string for a racket, use the best string and tension for your playing style.

definitely, it's like asking what tires should I use on my specific brand of car or what type of butter should I put on my toast... each person really needs to try and decide on their own as no particular string is going to play better on a particular racket. I use the same string for all my rackets.

hey, the one im asking is which string is best for the racket and not for the player.. and i also specify that im asking which string has the best hitting sound..

and also im asking the differences between bg 66ultimax and bg 66 maxima..

it seems that you people are not answering my questions at all..WTH

Maybe you should try to understand that there IS NO BEST STRING FOR A RACKET!! It's not like a kids toy where the triangle shape goes through the triangle hole and the circle shape goes through the circle hole... Strings are personal preference, I like a particular string and use it on all my rackets because I LIKE THE STRING!!! and it works as well on one racket as it does on another.

    For sound... really? http://www.yonex.com/badminton/string/high_hitting_sound.html

Personally, I think the differences between the 66UM and 66M are so subtle you need to try it to understand.

As for answering your questions... this is an open forum, things get side tracked now and then, swearing at the ones you want help from doesn't really speed things up...

I'm currently also using BG66UM. At 24lbs mains, 26lbs crosses. Not sure what tension that falls under.

    Fantastic string though.

I personally don't care as long as you actually have the knowledge to back up what you're saying. Someone with lots of experience but poor internet knowledge may have just found the site and have a lot of good knowledge to share, that's great. Someone who comes on and asks a question that you try to answer to the best of your ability then get flamed for... and get swearing as compensation for trying to help... well that's pretty rude but... nothing really new with this generation of kids. They are so used to getting what they want, when they want it that they don't understand that some things are just learned through experience.

Best strings is a personal preference.... I tried the BG66UM and I didn't like them at all!

Personally I prefer the NBG series much more... Both the 95 and 98 were very good in my books... But that's just because I'm a power hitter and finesse is NOT part of my game :p

Absolutely LOVE them. Love the amount of repulsion and control they give. Also feel like I can get more power behind it (possibly due to the extra speed?) than other strings I've tried, inc BG85, BG80, VS-850 and ZY67.
