Bring it with you when you come to Panda's Cave: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php/69342-Panda-Power-A-Racket-That-Can-Take-40lbs.-String-Tension!?p=1621073&viewfull=1#post1621073 And we can drive over to Herb's place (owner of Tennishead) and swap it physically.
You can send it Maa2003, since he offered. Herb has a workshop near Burbank, before he was running it out of his house in Hollywood Hills. He still has his address on his RMA form, even though his workshop is where all service takes place.
I found this adapter for Gamma from Tenniswarehouse. It looks promising. I think I just need to drill three hole in my Pilot tension bar to install it. Anybody use this adapter before?
if your location is in US, why not go to Herb directly : yup that's right. if he is in Malaysia or Singapore then it can be sent to me boss ...
please do not spend your money for unnecessary thing. by using this Gamma adapter, it will increase the Wise2086 position, so the string will hit the badminton racket frame. your adapter just need to be machined to make it wider, so you can use with thicker tension-bar.
I was thinking the same thing. I would remove the flange and try to line up the screw holes of the toothed rails. Then use longer bolts on the toothed rail, then just use nuts on the other end. You should check the height of the gripper so you still have 360 degree rotation. Note the screws are slightly angled.
I believe these are "unnecessary" items according to maa2003 To me, this looks like a heavenly creation that had I a girlfriend, I would easily ditch for
Can you elaborate more in how the gripper height affect the 360 degree rotation. I guess I still can't picture that.
Yes..I would ditch my girl friend for these "unnecessary" things as well. Unfortunately, I can only afford a my wife now :crying:..no chance to ditch her. Btw, the gamma quick action base clamp look sexy. I am wondering whether I can use them on my Pro's pro Pilot.
That's a nice setup! When I had my Flex 940, I wanted to use the Gamma quick action base clamps. But that was years ago. Now I have two machines, a Babolat Sensor Dual and a Gamma 6004 2-point with a Wise 2086 Pro (back up machine). I like the W&D Dual Clamps for my Gamma. One thing I miss from my Eagnas was the Reel Holder.
??? what do you mean boss ? mine almost similar with Dink's except for the swivel-clamp base and the side-support which still the original one.
I find it very amusing that Dink uses his reel order for string packs and a box for his reels. I am the other way around haha.
Hahaha I see. I only have a ZM67 reel, and Wilson Stamina 16 and Gosen OG Sheep 16 (both tennis strings) as those are the string requested 90% of the time. But i have 2 large boxes for Yonex string packs and ZM62/70
I think these are better, and sold by Arfaian (Pro's Pro): Here are similar ones to Panda's: BTW how goes the Wise mounting project?
Thanks as always, Covina. I contacted Watson and they can supply with a custom made adapter for my need. I also bought the gamma adapter just to play with and I think your suggestion to drill the bar is doable (back up plan). I hope the adapter from watson can fit then I can return the gamma adapter to tennis warehouse. will keep you posted.
those clamps are nice. similar to the ones on the ES5Pro/Protech. once disengaged and dropped, it also disengages the bottom clamp. however, the price is kinda high, 60 Euros for each set. and it is only for tennis...
I think they will take the Watdon Dual Clamps. 60 Euros which is about $80 USD is a pretty good price considering you get the string clamp, base clamp and rail. You can probably sell the tennis clamp for $40 to a tennis stringer with an Eagnas or Gamma, which would offset the Watdon Dual Clamp.
