Straight in to my opponent's eyes. I try to distract them as they often try to stare me out. Also, you can sometimes anticipate where they are going to move. I've found that with the stare tactic, I've rattled quite a few less experienced opponents as they forget about the shuttle and try and read me. This usually fails and they end up off balance for returning the service.
Look where I plan to hit fast, and then stare my opponent to kill his guts . (Juzt kiddin bout the guts... But you can find out where did he plan to go sometime... and which area would be best to put him in trouble xD)
hmm, most of the time i look at the inner corner of the service line on the opponents side.. right about top of the net level... for doubles for forearm serves i look out to my opponent and try to get a read of their anticipation then look at my shuttle and racket to make sure the serve will be spot on.
Exacatly what I do! But usually I'll look down at the birdie but not look at them instead of looking down at the birdie then at the opponent.
i've tried lookin at the opponents eyes.....but i'll feel shy so i stare at the opponents leg....without moving my eyeball i also look at wher the racket it
Sometimes I stare at my opponent prior to serving, but usually I focus on one particular corner in the service box, then serve long or short in the opposite angle.
Evolved from b4 now i find myself looking into nowhere when i serve... I just "feel" the serve and am able to picture where i want it to land... where it actually does end up.. haha, except for my flick serves.. which are infrequent/inconsistent. = my expression of my opponents return of my "flick serve"
I look at my racquet first then stare with the wide eye look at my opponent and always grin before I serve.
I look at my opponent, then look at where Im NOT going to serve, and then serve where he wouldnt have enough time to reach it, or if he did, hopefully it'll be a pretty high return so I can smash it Im practicing that serve deception shot, but I keep messing up the angle and the birdie goes waay to sharply to the right or not enough to make a difference !
i always stare blankly towards the middle of that persons side(or half of their side that they are standing in). i then pick a spot, and sometimes with a fake thrown in there.
At the opponent, spot on the floor. at the opponent. then serve somewhere else than the place i have looked. i could have repeated the first 3 steps so they fall a bit b4 i serve. is that illegal. LOL
When play double, i look at my opponent where he stand, if i see he is not alert, then i look at my shutter and flick high...
