Today's Malaysia news paper said, Wong Tat Meng will join LM in Indonesia and works under LM directly.....starting right after AE11 !
Yup, end of March coach Wong Tat Meng will join INA badminton national team. Badminton-Malaysian coach defects to Indonesia Thu, 24 Feb 04:43:00 2011 Malaysia's women's badminton coach is set to leave by the end of March to join the Indonesian national team, local media reported on Thursday. National singles coach Wong Tat Meng has been with the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) for eight years and will become the first Malaysian to coach in Indonesia at the national level. "Tat Meng wanted to move to greener pastures and he has submitted his resignation letter," BAM secretary Ng Chin Chai told the Star newspaper. "It should be looked at positively as he can come back one day and become a better coach as what Tan Kim Her did," he added, referring to the first Malaysian coach to ply his trade overseas in South Korea and England before returning to the country last year. ------------------------------------------- Read more -- http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/24022011/2/badminton-malaysian-coach-defects-indonesia.html

Thanks for the info Hauge..So, Paulus will only focus on coaching Gres/Meilina or become the coach for the entire utama WD squad?
According to the above news, pbsi v.president denied they hire wtm How reliable is this news? Anybody can verify which one is true, wtm or pbsi v.president?
It is true that PBSI did not know if Li Mao is hiring WTM..basically LM asked for assistant and will be paid by 3rd party...PBSI okayed it and did not know if LM hires WTM...I know because during INA liga...some talked to me about the news...
Basically what Li Mao wants, PBSI fulfills it so far......even the doctor, a friend of his is aready with INA team and busy curing many INA's players' health problem or injuries..including Maria kristin, Sony, Firda, etc
wow.. Maria Kristin still get attention from PBSI despite already resigned from PBSI? How can? nice...
Li Mao can get anything he wants as long as it is for the benefit of Indonesia as a nation IMHO just provide anything he ask for as long as it is sensible and not a selfish request for the sake of Indonesian badminton, that is if he could prove himself useful I bet he will be useful
I just realised that Tommy Sugiarto won another IC title about 3 weeks ago, in Iran. No wonder his ranking is 30 now! His recent records are indeed impressive, losing only to: Lin Dan 15-21, 15-21 in the Korea SSP 2011 Lee Chong Wei 17-21, 18-21 in the Malaysia SS 2011 Alamsyah Yunus 21-11, 13-21, 17-21 in the India IC 2010 P. Kashyap 21-18, 17-21, 18-21 in the India GP 2010 Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka 19-21, 21-14, 13-21 in the Indonesia GPG 2010 Tian Houwei 19-21, 21-16, 18-21 in the Vietnam GP 2010 Ary Trisnanto 19-21, 18-21 in the Indonesia IC 2010 Shon Sheung Mo 15-21, 23-25 in the Singapore IS 2010 P. Kashyap 14-21, 16-21 in the BAC 2010 9 matches in the past 11 months, winning: Iran, Bahrain, Malaysia, and Laos IC titles. I think he has a chance to break into the top 20.
All the three top Indonesian MS players were bundled out in yesterday's AE. The low scores also added insult to injury. What is the problem?
Sony is still not 100% fit (long-term injury). Taufik has been travelling around from Jakarta to Surabaya to Batam, then back to Surabaya, Jakarta, China, before reaching Birmingham. Fatigue is one factor. As for Simon....still inconsistent.
