he still with WMC? did them was break up? (sorry i didn't follow the news)
for me he is second best men's single now. i think he just unlucky to having great opponent like Lin Dan ( rival that beat him in WC, asian games, Olympic ). i know he try to out from his image that he always beaten by Lin Dan.
now LCW and LD has same ability and mentality. anyone with more luck and ready will win the match.

Feel free to browse bc threads for more news on lcw and wmc :)

As for lcw and ld, browse in bc longer and you will find out their difference:

one would only lost to the other one occasionally

while the other one would lost to a number of players, also occasionally :D

i agree, i think when LCW meet LD, LD win often.
but when they meet other player, LCW more consitent than LD ( this year LCW lose 2 times and all of it from LD. LD lose 3 times (plus his retired), 1 from LCW and 2 from other player).
so we can conclude that LCW is more consistent against other player while LD is more superior when they meet

A rare defeat to CL. However credits also to CL for playing very well against Dato'. The only dissapointing outcome from this match is that as a winner, CL should show more matured manners to Dato' and the audience rather than replicating what LD sometimes do when winning his match against Dato'. A world class player should have a world class mentality and character.

Haha, LCW had a rare defeat to CL, proving that he's human after all. :)
Hope he doesn't take this defeat too hardly, and hopefully no one criticizes him because CL caught him on a bad day where he couldn't find his range.

    Good luck in the future!

Also LCW usually wins with bigger scores.. LD has learned to do "just enough" to win, and somethimes this seems to backfire with suprise losses. LCW on the other hand usually easilly disposes even very strong player, by being so solid in defense and consistency.

Looks like LCW also picked up his third defeat, bringing his and LD's losses this year the same (3) very consistent .

Besides the match-fixing by the unsporting CBA in withdrawing LD against CL in the MSSF match of the 2011 YOJSS, I think LCW was bothered by a niggling shoulder injury.
He smashed very minimally in his final match against CL when the opportunities arose which is very unlike LCW and that is one-third of his weaponry gone.

A sad day for badminton indeed. The rest of the world question China integrity and sportmanship.

In the eyes of LYB, China won the MS title over LCW today, period. I weep for LCW tonight.

He was supposed to have healed from his shoulder injury but I admit that he probably did not have enough preparation after being back from injury...

He showed no trouble yesterday against Peter Gade though.

when lcw wins no one talks about the injury but how good he is, how much he has improved and how he is ready to beat super dan..but when he loses everyone defends him by claiming he is injured..

Currently an in-form LCW will beat CL easilly! There is still a huge gap imop.. But things are not static.. CL is improving...

Yup, this is badminton. that's why its fun to watch. Congrats to the well deserved Chen Long for beating LCW for the JPN Open title. Yeah, i can really see a HUGE turnover improvement from their meetings during in Malaysia just months back. But i'm sure LCW will be back again.. STRONGER:)

When lcw wins, the one who talks about him winning with injuries will be shot :DIt's obvious he has improved as he keeps beating people with very low score until today :DIsn't it also obvious all of a certain he lost there has to be a reason :D

CL just does not know how to control himself when he wins. Plus he got an all day rest which is a huge advantage over LCW. :(

I am sure LCW will come back stronger. Hope he will recover soon.
