Sunday CCC CATS at MSAC : 05-May-2013 (Lunch at Sushi Hotaru) . Thanking Richardrli and Kinyowa for informing us. I have actually read your posts earlier; But it's only now that I have time to reply. Anyway, here is a report of our lunch at Sushi Hotaru after our CCC CATS on Sunday, 05-May-2013. 7 CCCers attended lunch; and they were: (1) Mario-P (2) Chong-S (3) Alex-K (4) Jenny-F (5) Markus-H (6) Daisy-L (7) chris-ccc Most said that they enjoyed our lunch there. Jenny-F was thankful of Mario-P for introducing the various Japanese dishes to her and her daughter, Alex-K. Sunday CCC CATS at MSAC on 05-May-2013 (A Short Report) . Here is a short report for our Sunday CCC CATS at MSAC on 05-May-2013. At this CATS, we conducted the topic on "Flat Drives". Some points to remember: * We need to concentrate on our Flat Drives (forehand & backhand) with our 'longest reach' (Footwork, I mean). * Our follow-through will direct the trajectory/direction of our shots. * Concentrate on hitting the shot through the GAP space; hitting with maximum power. The concentration is on Power and the GAP. * We need to give as little time as possible for our opponent(s) to react. * if the shot is hit flat through the GAP, the shuttlecock would end up landing at the Back Tram-Lines. * etc, etc, ...... I feel that some trainees are still not understanding the lesson taught here. Please ask me questions next week (to answer any doubts that you have). Comments on our 9 attending trainees: 1. Markus-H is doing OK. However, more power is required. 2. Daisy-L is doing OK too. Somehow, she is doing better with her 'DAB'. 3. Surprising Tracy-T is doing her shots almost similar to Daisy-L's. 4. Chong-S needs more twisting of her trunk to add more power in her shots. 5. WaiKin-Y also needs more training in twisting his trunk. 6. Mario-P needs to learn how to use more wrist power. 7. Timothy-T has no problem with this shot; Power and concentration on hitting through the GAP were very consistent. 8. Alex-K was actually not feeling well at this CATS. Glad that she attended our session. Although not feeling physically strong enough to hit harder, she should be able to hit harder next time. 9. Richard-L, attending his first CATS, will need more time to understand how/what our trainees are working at. Lunch after our session was held at Sushi Hotaru; as it was reported in the previous post (Post #2735). Below, I shall post out our next Booking List (for Sunday 12-May-2013) for trainees to book in. .
