The ones at the top are the one that I am currently using. Just started to use the SHB 101 Limited and have not tested the SHB 200 but have to stop playing for a while due to ankle injury. Need to recover first. The ones at the bottom I considered "Retired" and used them as my walking shoes.
switched yet again, now since dropping a certin sponsor and being allowed to wear yonex shoes again i have switched to the Yonex SHB 100 LTD red. but during training ill wear my normal shb 100's.
I still couldn't bear to replace my shb100ltd. After 18months of use, its now plastered up. Still going though. The shb100ltds were just great. You guys just gotta check out his shoes.
I have just switched from the SHB-101LTD to using the SHB-200 and SHB-80W (THE Japan model). I'm giving my SHB-101LTD to my brother.
That is a good looking shoe..Post a review after you settle into them..Perhaps try them out the way they r and then with an insole or custom orthotic or whatever u use. I was looking at Hi-tec shoes before I got my Karakals as well..
Here is a little write up on what i feel about the hitec 4sys after 3sessions of play. Comparing to the shb100ltd. Shb100ltd Comfort: 9/10 Grip: 9/10 Support: 8/10 Hitec 4sys Comfort: 7/10 Grip: 9/10 Support: 9/10 The Hitec 4sys was surprisingly good. I always believed in buying yonex badminton shoes, as the top end models are often very good, and there isnt a risk of getting dissapointment. I bought the hitec shoes because they were cheaper, and since, i am going for national service soon, i wouldnt want to spend too much on a shoe. Comparing to the Yonex Shb100ltd, I rated comfort as 7/10 as i feel, the hitec 4sys badminton shoe is much stiffer at the base. Left, right movements arent as fluid as the shb100ltd. The material on the hitec 4sys doesnt seem as breath-able as the shb100ltd, feet feels "tired" after a 3hours session, but i dont feel that with the shb100ltd. The hitec 4sys are also heavier. On the contary, the hitec 4sys's grip is good, despite the significantly less-er treads compared to the shb100ltd. As for support, i feel, the hitec 4sys holds my feet in place better than the shb100ltd. Shoe is great for its price, but, again, if i arent going for ns soon, i would have gotten another pair of shb100ltd, or the shb101ltd. They are much comfortable and fluid, might be the yonex round sole. I am not dissapointed with my buy though, and i hope, this pair will last me another year plus. Just my 2cents...
Good review...I guess the key is to see how they hold up in few months from now..As they say "time will tell"...
I got SHB 98MX and SHB 91MX. My dad let me use his 98 until I bought my own 91. Both are still in pretty good condition.
i have SHB98 signed by 2000 olympic gold medalists Tony Gunawan and Chandra Wijaya... hehehe still waiting for my SHB 101 LTD coming this saturday...
the_chosen_one, I've worn that shoe before! It's lasted me for about a year and 2 months before it spoilt i'm currently wearing this pair:
I have always been an avid user of mizuno shoes. And because Volleyball is my first love, i also started using volleyball shoes for badminton. My 1st one was - Mizuno Wave Lightning, first edition 2nd - Mizuno Wave Tornado 3 I also bought several yonex along side but I would still end up over using my beloved mizunos Im planning to buy my 3rd mizuno very very soon =)
