I just bought some Yonex SHB 101's (Power cushion 101 in Japan).... They are the red model, but not marketed as Limited.

Have only worn them once and this is my first pair of proper badminton shoes, but I can already feel that they support my feet very well with very good grip (compared to normal, cheap mizuno shoes)

I will also try to write a better review after a few months of use :)

Im wearing SHB 100ltd gold/white. Luv this shoe. Been using it since last Sept09 but recently there's a vertical tear just next to the front lateral claw(also near the first/front vertical stiching) on right-foot side. Tear is about 2" in length. Immediately i felt the loss of 'holding stability' that its famous for. I wonder if i could continue wearing or is it the issue of durability. Pls advice.

Do you find the gel rocket 4 a little high off the ground and a little weak on the ankle support for extreme movement of badminton?

i find it a little high and movement around the court is a little clumsy...

i never tried badminton-dedicated shoes like yonex and gang, but anyone has a knowledgeable insight on the major advantage of using badminton-dedicated shoes as to the asics line (gel rocket, domains, sensei etc)

alrite, so i just sprain my ankle badly on the gel rocket. I fear that the shoe is too high for movement and too narrow base for stability, and the fear was right. The slightly slippery floor didn't help either.

Now i am out for god knows when and will be looking arnd for a new pair of PROPER badminton shoe. anyone recommends a low shoe for wide feet? thanxxxx

I'm also wearing this model, it's really good in cushioning. The "brake" is good when play on rubber carpet, compare in parquet floor.

For those out there who has the 101M or LTD, do you find it wear 1/2 size or 1 size smaller compared to normal running shoes/casual shoes ? If I am a US8 for regular shoes, should I go for US8.5 or US9 ?
