You can explain these to badminton fanatic fans but to any outsider will say "So many WO what the hell". If is tennis grand slam, it will .. not sure? That was why in Olympic saga, disqualification can happen because all audience from non badminton fanatic can't understand why is happen and find it not acceptable to them and boo-ing happen in the stadium. No choice that Olympic has to disqualified them. If it was happen in BWF tournament, would you think will it will be disqualification ? Any explanation or excuses to defend OG disqualification is unacceptable to outsider. So far we are all bullying BWF, haven't we learned from OG that outsider can't accept this fuss.
Both of them kept hogging the net Given Ajay Jayaram's very good at it (compared to the new batch of Indian youngsters), he should not have displayed such overconfidence, especially with an upcoming like Chen...his plan backfired and he handed over the win to him . His performance in the IBL wasn't too stellar either..he appeared so out of form and made fundamental errors. The Chinese and Koreans are in good form, as always. A different strategy needs to be adopted for them.
You guys are arguing about withdrawals and it's pointless. It's the last China Masters so there is no action for next year. Just enjoy the fact it's given some money to the sport in the previous years.
Yup, China Masters first edition was held on 2005 and ended 2013, 7 years to host Super Series, it's time to say goodbye for CHN Masters...
Come on, the one that injured is Cheng Su (ZYL partner in WD) thats why ZYL kept playing in XD. Same case with Xu Chen and BYX that injured too, will you also protesting why Ma Jin kept playing in WD? Sorry for blabbering
Poor Wang Xin...still so obviously hampered in movement and finding it hard to retrieve. I see she's still got that marvellous shot-making ability at times, though.
So heartening to read your sane, sensible, fair and balanced, objective and impartial, wise words - should put all those ill-willed, petty,narrow-minded,spiteful, malicious remarks to shame. Hats off to you.
Disastrous Performance by the Korean Team so far despite sending their A+ team... MD: The biggest casualty is in Men's Doubles which should be their strength leaving KSH/LYD alone in the draw... WS: SJH lost to Li Han, and World Bronze Medalist, BYJ also lost to Liu Xin... Disaster MS: Can LDK beat the chinese who beat Hayom yesterday? we shall see.. WD: good effort to progress through, I'm predicting the longest they can progress is QF though... XD: Good chances on top half of the draw, YYS/EHW is surrounded by INA XD if Lukhi/Annisa can beat the Chinese later tonite. While, Shin/Jang is projected to meet brother/sister Kido/Pia and Zhang/Zhao in QF and SF respectively if the seeding progress.
I respect non-CHN fans like you, at least you bother to check before shooting your mouth off. Thanks.
Unfortunately, Wang Xin is no Lin Dan with or without the injury. After that severe and debilitating London Olympics injury which threatens to ruin her career, she is no longer the same WX, it seems for the time being. I'm afraid it's going to be an uphill climb for her to make a successful comeback. Such a beautiful, talented attacking player, what a shame. Well,as long as she is not giving up and keeps trying, I'm behind her all the way. Where there's a will, there's a way. JiaYou !
DuPY's loss to Sakai not that unexpected to me but Chen Yuekun's victory over Ajay is. So are the victories scored by Han Li over Sung JH and Liu Xin over Bae YJ. Also a bit surprising to me are Gu Juan beating Sapsiree this time and Porntip besting Mitani; more, a pleasant surprise for Chai Biao/ Hong Wei to edge out the rising KOR pair, Kim/Kim, who won last week's Chinese Taipei title.
After disposing of Ajay this morning, Chen Yuekun has another opponent, Kento Momota, this evening. Can a tired CYK who just finished his last CNG match yesterday before flying over here today stand up to the challenge? So far, despite the odds, a few of the CHN players managed to get past their adversaries. But it's certainly going to get harder as the rounds go by and it'll be a stretch of my imagination to hope to see any CHN players left standing in the finals.
Zhou Wenlong's a surprise package, he's just taken out Lee Dong Keun in a 62 mins 3-setter, 21-15, 10-21, 21-13.
Don't worry, no murder, no slaughter, the most some bruises, blue-black here and there as both WXL and YY are stretched thin and sucked dry by the CNG.
Kim and Kim lost again, but this time the score-line was a very close one. Even though DuPY was in the final of CHNG I'm still surprised he lost to Sakai, or at least that it doesn't seem to have been that close. I really wonder what the outcome of the Kento-Chen Yueken will be and really how,if Kento wins, a Jan O-Kento match will look like. How good of a badminton player is Zhou Wenlong? Looking him up some notable things he's done is a win vs Tago in the QF of the 2006 WJC and later winning against Tian Houwei at the 2011 Russian Grand Prix. What is his playing style like?
