Yes, in most recent tournaments, he is using JS10. From the above pictures where he wear Victor light blue color jersey, he is using JS10.
Oppsss....thanks for the correction buddy, yes they are so close yet so far to win the World Junior Championship, just lost by a whisker :crying:.
JS10 supposedly is way lighter, all-around, less stiff but still pack powerful smash than BS12? This is a new racket along with Victor 2 new: JS Natsir, JS Tontowi.
I was watching live Sudirman Cup simulation between Kevin/Gideon vs Ricky/Angga. It's quite sad that there will be only 2 pairs maximum that will go to Olympics even though I think there are 3 pairs that deserves to be there. The 2 pairs and Ahsan/Hendra
Sen, who won the simulation match? I hope Gideon/Kevin will qualify for the olympic on merit and replace Ahsan/Setiawan as Indonesia no.1 MD when the latter retired.
I heard Kevin/Gideon won the match. BTW the profile above don't think Kevin is any taller than Gideon. I think both are 165cm..
Kevin/Gideon won in straight set. They totally dominated in the beginning. Gideon at the back kept on smashing. Kevin with his smart placing found all the empty spaces and makes Angga/Ricky have to lift. Towards the end, Gideon smashes seemed weaker so they were playing more rally and placing and Angga/Ricky found their form and the matches getting more interesting. But still Kevin/Gideon won it.
Haha....indeed, at first I don't believe Kevin is 1.70m but after I reviewed this photo (see below), I somehow have to agreed. From the picture below Kevin is slightly taller than Gideon, and if Gideon is 1.65cm, maybe Kevin are around 1.68cm to 1.70cm......
well look at this picture (Credit to bulutangkis.com) Kevin is definately taller than gideon and a bit taller than Liliyana natsir (168 cm) so 170 cm seems right
wetsvandal thanks a lot, nice photo. Look like the 5cm gap between Kevin and Gideon do make sense from the above photo.
